Hello to all hope y’all are doing well! I am new here looking for something, anything and everything. I’m 44 from the High Desert in California. My name is Dorothy but my parents called me Muff all my life. Anyways I’ve lost a lot of people important ones, my mother, my big sister, my father, my fiancee, my bestie, over the last 25 years the toll that their losses took on my mental health has been tremendous I feel utterly lost and losing hope. My name is Katharina, I´m an art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magick very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes, jars and all kinds of creative magic shenanignas. Working in my Book of Shadows is a big part of my pratice. I love all things tarot and practice this art since many moons.

I’m sorry for your losses. It’s difficult being alone, and I never had a big family. I can’t imagine the challenges you are dealing with. I hope this group can help you feel more connected. Fabulous Friday Dorothy,
I’m in Vegas, Baby, Vegas. Where are you, Scotty’s Castle, Palm Desert/Springs, Death Valley? Yes, I understand the losses. It was the loss of my daughter in Spring of 2024 (didn’t know ‘til she got in the hospital, stage 4 inoperable cancer, she lived 5 weeks, she was mother of 3 and 35 years old–her husband had already died of Covid)to continue, it was this trauma that led me BACK to the craft. And it was the greatest thing ever. Unfortunate that it took a tragedy to take my life back, but this is the best thing that I have done.
Here, with us, you do not need to be lost any longer!!

Welcome to the group. I’m so sorry for your losses. It sounds like it has been a rough road you have been on. My wish for you is that the new road ahead is smooth and tranquil. I hope that you find some new people and places to explore. The desert is a place where I have always found solitude but also so much life and beauty hidden that reveals itself in time. Family is hard to loose but for me it’s something that I can find hidden in others in my life. I hope you find some here.
