Hi, @rebecca35! I’m Amethyst from Fayette County, WV! Hi, neighbor! Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

It’s nice to have another Mountaineer here! I’m an Eclectic Witch who’s into candle magic and chants. I’m terrible with green things, even if I didn’t live in an apartment. So I’m not much help there, but there is a great Green Witch Herbal Course on site that should help you out! Plus there are lots of green and gardening witches here, just don’t look at me. LOL!

If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!

Superb Sunday Rebecca,

So glad you are here. I have no experience with plants, I’m here in Vegas, Baby, Vegas. You been here? I was not in WV, but travelled historical sites, Monticello, DC, Smithsonians, Gettysburg, kinda in that area. Take your time and look around. There are many different people, and expertise here, you are sure to find someone to connect with. Lady Gene :phoenix: :divination_crystal_ball:

Merry Meet and welcome, Rebecca! :herb::sparkles:

It’s so lovely to have you here. West Virginia feels like such a fitting place for someone drawn to herb and plant magic, the mountains, forests, and wild green spaces carry deep, old energy.

I’m Stephanie or Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California. My practice leans heavily into green witchery and hearth craft, learning to grow herbs, start a garden, and honoring the elements in everyday life and in my home. I also love divination (tarot, runes, oracle, Lenormand) and weaving self-care into my magical practice. So, you’re speaking my language with herbs and elementals!

You’ll find so much inspiration here, especially if you enjoy learning from others’ experiences. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or share what you’re discovering, plant magic especially is something we all keep learning from, season after season.

So glad you’re here!
Blessed Be. :herb: :dizzy:

Hello @rebecca35 and merry meet! :purple_heart:
I´m Katharina, an art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magick very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes, jars and all kinds of creative magic shenanignas. Working in my Book of Shadows is a big part of my pratice. I love all things tarot and practice this art since many moons.

The forum is huge and it takes time to get to know everything. The people here are very sweet and helpful, so just make yourself known if there´s any questions, someone will certainly show up to help you.

Brightest blessings! :dizzy:

Hello @rebecca35,

Welcome to the forum! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators. Just wanted to pop by and say hi - it’s very nice to meet you

It’s always a pleasure to meet a fellow green magick enthusiast! There are a lot of discussions about plants, herbs, and green magick here in the forum. We try to keep them labelled with the plants tag to make them easier to find. If you’re interested, feel free to explore that tag (or the other tags in the forum) - it’s a fun way to find new discussions to join!

Please make yourself at home here. Blessed be!

Hi Amethyst,

Thank you for the warm welcome! Your part of the state is gorgeous.

I just bought a book on candle magic and want to learn a lot about it as well as elemental magic.

Thanks for the info on the herb course, I will check it out.

This site is amazing…so many witches who are willing to share everything they know (or at least most of it).

Stay witchy,
Rebecca35

Merry Meet Rebecca

I just wanted to welcome you.

I am from a small village in Lancashire, England.

I am a Solitary Eclectic Witch and my divinations are crystals, tarot, runes, angel numbers, lenormand, candle magic, tending outdoor, indoor plants and growing herbs, spell jars, spell bags, sun & moon water, water meditation and home cleansing. I am doing the daily Oracle Cards which is my new go to.

I try to simplify, balance and live intentionally to create a calm, peaceful, relaxing home for my family and animals.

Everyone is very supportive, caring and helpful with anything you need it is a wonderful coven to be a part of.

Wishing you blessings

Greetings @rebecca35 and I apologize for the late welcome!

My name is Kat, and I practice bioregional animism grounded in the North Carolina Piedmont, blending science and magick. I’ve been practicing for over 30 years. I create divination tools adapted to my local ecosystem, including ogham staves and seasonal tree sets. I also read tarot. I’ve studied herbalism, make my own herbal teas, and enjoy working in herb and vegetable gardens. My practice is hands-on: I craft tools, make runes and deity figurines, and bind my own journals.

We’re glad you’re here. Make yourself comfortable, explore at your own pace, and feel free to ask any questions you might have!
