Iām Kat and am currently located in North Carolina. I found the practice over 20 years ago but lost my way for a while. I found my way home a couple of years ago and shortly thereafter found this amazing group of people!! I am a fairly eclectic Green witch with a deep interest in tarot, runes, herbalism, and moon magic. My deities are Artemis (sheās been with me since the beginning) and Hekate, a recent guide in my life.
I love this, made me smile when I read it!

Well thank you. And that comes from my favorite movie The Craft. I was a child when I found Wicca. And even though my mom gave us religion she had a old book called The Witches Hammer or something like that. She gave us our history and my family is from Haiti, landing in the bayou of New Orleans. Makes me wish I would have meet more of my family there and learn what she (my mom) was trying to teach her girls.

Hi @Stormii, Iām Susurrus another of the moderators here at Spells8 & itās nice to meet you! I had started with Wicca when I was teenager, life happened then returned in 
2020, found Spells8 & have never been happier with my path, although I am no longer Wiccan, but a witch just the same
Iām happy that you feel so at home 
here! Everyone here is really friendly & supportive of one anotherās unique paths. I love crystals & Iām not entirely sure I have a collection anymore, it could probably pass as an exhibit of some kind I think 
I am happiest when I am able to have a somewhat routine that includes meditation 
As of late itās been more breathwork with mantras, which is also very beneficial for me.
My practice has definitely gone through a lot of changes but I have found where I am comfortable. I have many parts of my practice that really resonate with me, but also love learn. I tend to go down rabbit holes & deep dives topics of interest. I will try something out for as long as I can (good ole college try 
) Sometimes it becomes something that works with my practice & other times I will let it go. The learning though is my favorite part 
Iām going to echo others, feel free to explore, ask questions, or share things with us

@Stormii giiiiiiirrrrlll that is so awesome that your mom tried to connect with u. My dad just says im evil and gonna burn in hell. Or my favorite āyou cant suffer a witch to liveā, but still calls for my teas, oils, and such. AND YET I WAS BORN THIS WAY. my gifts come from my moms side, maybe my dads who knows, but i know with all certainty it was feom my momās. My great great grandfather was a Seminole shaman. My great grandmother, his daughter, then married my great grandfather who was a Pentacostal minister and she gave up ALL of her heritage for love.
BTW Iām Christeena, and Iām 43, a mother of 2 adult sons. One is a paramedic/firefighter, and the other is a Marine. I was a 911 dispatcher supervisor until my doctor advised i would have to retire to my illness. So now Iām here, and per my wonderful friends here, Iām the Mistress of Herbs. I live in a very very small town in Central North Carolina with my hubby of 21 yrs, our 2 dogs and 3 cats. I was raised Pentecostal and was always told that my gifts were evil, so they were suppressed til just a few yrs ago when i finally accepted all of myself. It has been an amazing journey with alot of bumps along the way. But itās all worth it bc for the 1st time in 43 yrs i feel whole.
I have a HUGE affinity for herbs. Iām certified as a Holistic and Natural Healer. I commune with spirits, and my guides. Iām a daughter of Hekate, The Morrigan, and Thor. I will help anyone, usually to my own detriment. But Iām still just gonna do me. If you ask me a question please be prepared for an honest answer. Sometimes brutally honest, as I am blunt. I donāt sugar coat things. Here you will find so many like minded brothers and sisters who will welcome and accept all of you with open arms without condescension. If you have questions all you have to do is ask. We are all here to help each other. You will find people from all walks of life and paths.
My bestieās ancestry actually is from New Orleans too and she is big into voodoo.

Nice. So your just as well rounded as I am. Yes, I like honesty. Dont lie or sugar coat anything for me. It will only break me down as I will never grow without the honesty.
My daughter passed away at 19. My son is a chef in California. But will be moving to Washington.
I here in Florida with my husband, Boston Terrier and 10 aquatic turtles.
Im 52 and lookimg into going to school for Holistic herbalist and sign language. Ive waited to long doing everything else.
I do work with root magic, crystals and some Hoodoo and voodou. I also, seek advice from the ancestors and Orisha.
