Hi! My name is Jenna and while I’m from America, I’m currently living and working Japan. I’m 29 years of age. I have been wanting to start my Wiccan path since high school when I read a fiction book about a girl discovering that she is a blood witch and begins to discover this once hidden side of her. I know I am not a blood witch, lol, Don’t know a lot about my lineage, so hey, maybe I shouldn’t rule it out. Anyway, when reading that book, Wicca just made so much sense to me. I’ve never really been connected to my other religions. I also feel like I am very late in my journey and have wasted 15 years that i could have used. I will be doing my first single person circle on Samhain. I am ready for this new life and Iwant to get to know as witches as I can who can help me on my journey. Blessed be
Greetings from New Mexico!
Welcome @TheBlatinaWitch!
Please don’t be hard on yourself about time lost. It happens to a lot of us. The important part is that you are following your own path, wherever that may lead, learning your own lessons in life.
As for blood witches, if we go back in time far enough, we are all blood witches, simply because our ancestors worked with nature and deities at some point. It is buried deeply within us until we have followed our path in the appropriate direction to dig it out and work with it once again.
This is a good place to meet many helpful and knowledgeable witches from all over the world! I’m looking forward to learning from and with you.
Hi, @TheBlatinaWitch and Merry Meet! I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan in the US. You have come to the right place! There are all kinds of practicing witches in your new Coven, some with decades of experience - and we’re happy to have you joining us!
That’s understandable, but try not to be harsh with yourself about that. It sounds like you’ve been busy with life - what matters is where you are now.
That’s wonderful.
Be sure to check in with us that day! We’d love to know how it went! Don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything - we’re here to help.
I’ve been practicing for less than a year, though I’ve always been a pagan. Currently I’m into Lenormand cards for divination, and staying in tune with nature and animals.
Enjoy your journey, lovely.

Welcome!
Never too late to start your journey. You are in good company here.
Wishing you the best.
Leo.
Hi, @TheBlatinaWitch! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! ![]()
I, too, got interested in magic because of a book. Whitley Striber’s Cat Magic. A very good horror book, much better than his Alien stuff. We’ve got a lot of readers here, so you should fit right in! A new Book Club session will even be starting on Saturday if you want to join in!
If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up to give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
Welcome! It’s never too late!!! ![]()
Wooot! Let us know - how it goes.
Welcome to Spells8 - it is a great coven with lots of welcoming people.
I’m Dan and I study belief systems. My path loosely falls under the Chaos umbrella. I am into cards, runes, meditation and just about anything that looks interesting.
Enjoy!
Welcome.
I hope you find the connection and belonging here.
Merry Meet @TheBlatinaWitch ! Welcome to the coven! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with divination and voodoo.
You are never too late to start your journey! As you grow and study you may realize you already have been doing some things that are “witchy” without even knowing it.
The courses here are a wonderful place to start your learning and growing. Never hesitate to ask questions, we are a very helpful group here. I look forward to learning and growing with you.

Hello @TheBlatinaWitch,
Welcome to the forum! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators. It’s very nice to meet you ![]()
Just want to echo what others have said - it’s never to late to follow your heart! I like to think we get started exactly when we’re ready and able to. Sometimes the practice waxes or wanes, and that’s okay too. The most important thing is that we’re being true to ourselves. Congrats to you for embarking on your journey! I hope your practice brings you a lot of happiness and many blessings

Please make yourself at home here. I’m looking forward to chatting with you more around the forum! Blessed be and have a wonderful Samhain ![]()
@Feathertip @dan3 I think that I will post this in the general discussion as well, but since you guys wanted me to let you know how my Samhain circle went, I wanted to let you guys know directly. So it was strange in a wonderful way. I have to get used to being silent in a quiet room for a long time. I did a tarot draw, and saying it was kind of accurate would be an understatement. The tarot card was right on the money, and it was like I was reading about myself in the card. But it was the next day that was really interesting. My offering for Samhain was a piece of bread, and I decided to have a piece of bread for breakfast. I don’t know why, but that bread sustained me the whole day. I found it bizarre because I’d usually get hungry at least by dinner time, but nope. I wasn’t hungry at all. I ended up eating because I felt like I should, but even when I had the food right in front of me, I still wasn’t hungry. Again, my offering and what I ate for breakfast were the same thing. I found that sooo…weird, but cool!
Hi and welcome @TheBlatinaWitch . I’m Jayne, an eclectic solitary witch, originally from the UK but now living in Texas. I adopted Greenbriar as my witch name as I feel it aligns more closely with my practice which leans toward earth and nature magic.
You’re in exactly the right place to meet and learn from other witches. Feel free to jump into any conversation that interests you and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask
Thank you for sharing your Samhain ritual, @TheBlatinaWitch - I’m glad you remembered to post it here!
That is so cool! I love it when the cards align with you like this!
This must be so rewarding for you - what a wonderful experience! You were fulfilled in a number of ways. ![]()
Thank you for sharing! Blessings! ![]()
Thanks for updating us. I’m so glad your effort paid off. It feels so good when things come together. Congratulations!
I think doing that helped me with my meditation. Now, when everything goes a bit quiet, I drift into myself. It is when I get my best ideas or most comfort.
Dan
Thank you so much @Greenbriar !
I know right @Feathertip ! I really need to get back into learning aboutbtarot. It ws the first witchy object I bought myself because i felt drawn to it.
I found the bread thing so interesting because I onl ate the bread because I didn’t have anything else in my apartment to eat, so maybe it was meant to be.
@dan3 no problem for the update! I’m a loud person in general, so being quiet for a long time was a bit hard. I also am a weird person as I talk to myself when i feel it istoo quiet, so it was hard to not do that as well. I’m the ‘my best ideas come when I’m in the shower’ type person, lol. Thanks for your insight. Blessed be.
I apologize for the late greetings @TheBlatinaWitch. Welcome!
My name is Kat, and I started practicing the craft in 1993. Then got off track for 15 years before finding my way back to Magick. I practice nature magick with a bioregional focus, working closely with the natural world and drawing inspiration from plant and animal spirits. I’m drawn to herbalism, gardening, and various forms of divination - tarot, throwing bones, kipper and ogham.
We’re glad to have you here.
Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!:
