Hello there from Central Oregon

Hello!

My name is Megan and I am happy to be here. I have been practicing some form of paganism since I was in my early teens - which puts me at over a decade of practice. Throughout my time on this path, I have grown as person both mentally, emotionally, and spiritually - and I think that’s the beauty of this life path.

I started out with Wicca in my early teens and was introduced to it by a friend of mine. Over the years, my path has grown and changed with me, and I now consider myself a Celtic Pagan. I enjoy reading tarot and writing, and I worship the deities of the Celtic pantheon. I have been called spiritually to bring knowledge and spiritual growth to those around me and anyone who seeks it, and that is where my own website grew from. I now host my own site - Round the Cauldron - where I have articles and a podcast, and I have branched out to YouTube now as well.

I am glad to be here and I hope to inspire discussion, further education, and spiritual growth.

Hi Megan! I’m delighted to have you in the forum and I hope you’ll share your wisdom and experience as a Celtic Pagan with the rest of us!

It’s great to have a fellow Oregonian here, although I’m technically a foreigner living in Oregon (or a “Foregonian”). Here’s a hearty welcome to you! :tada::tada:

Oh my goodness, I’ve never heard the term “Foregonian” before! What part of Oregon do you live in?

Eugene, Oregon! Home of Ken Kesey, genius writer and author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

I lived in Florida in 2012-14… not for me… to hot and muggy and the bugs will get ya!! LOL mosquitoes the size of hummingbirds… well almost

I wanted to move to Florida, which is where my husband moved from to be with me…he said I would hate because of the bug sizes lol…SO here we are still in NH! LOL!!

Although we have been eyeballing North Carolina, Asheville area.

lol one of the main factors in moving to Florida is actually the humidity because my mom has an autoimmune disorder that doesn’t do well in cold or dry climates. So, we’re all going to try out Florida. My sister actually lives there as well.

The hardest part about the move is the fact that we have to find a place that will rent to us without having Florida verifiable income before we get there. That’s the difficult part.

We will still see you on this site? Right? you won’t leave us… I am sending good intentions for your move and that you find a lovely place. Homes to buy there depending on the area you move to, are super cheap…it blew my mind how cheap for what you get. Best wishes on all of it.
