Thank you so much. I guess im an eclectic witch as well…green elemental storm witch as close as I can figure. And I am home…been a really long road to get here but its the only place I have ever landed where I had no doubt. The last few days, communicating with you all…has been salvation…encouragement at a critical moment. Its not the Craft…its life. Life is just in the way. All I want to do is study and I hate that my meaningless job takes me away from it. I am learning balance…I woukd just rather hang out with all of you and talk about wit my stuff lol. Not interested in much else. On pursuit of remote work to free up more time. Ill get it figured out. I was getting hopeless and frustrated and you have all helped turn that to determination.

Same here! But finding balance between the different realms we´re slipping in and out of, is part of the witches life. Your job is only meaningless if you make it meaningless to yourself. Your mind holds the key to shifting your perspective! Everything can be sacred, if you decide to make it so.

Life IS the way. And you will be learning to create EVERY part of it in a magical and meaningful way. :purple_heart: You´re not just a witch when you´re sitting at your altar, studying or doing spellwork - you´re a witch, when you´re cleaning your house, going to work, picking up trash in a forest, holding someones hand when they´re having a hard time. :purple_heart:

No worries! It does sound confusing

I work with the spirits of the plants, animals, and land where I actually live, the North Carolina Piedmont. I learn about the trees, birds, and native plants here through both field observation and developing spiritual relationships.

Since traditional magick often uses European plants and trees that don’t grow here, I’ve created my own practices based on what’s actually around me. For example, instead of Celtic ogham with Rowan and Ash, I work with American Beech, Tulip Poplar, and our local oaks. I’ve developed seasonal tree oracles and other divination tools for my practice.

My practice blends naturalist skills (identifying trees by bark, tracking phenology) with divination, herbalism, and ritual work.

Wonderful Wednesday Katharina,

That is so true.:magic_wand: There was a small surge of witchcraft here on the west coast in the 70s. But yes, it has become more mainstream lately.

Isn’t that the truth!!! I certainly never realized what I doing until I came across it in my studies.:open_mouth:

 everyone, I had to laugh. This wasn’t my short sentences, but not quite the book I usually write.

Yes!!! So many times what I read in books many moons later was only confirming what I did intuitively all the time.
