We are a system living in South Australia. A relatively new broom (less than a year of practising). Our psychologist started us on this path - funnily enough! - by asking me to do a tarot reading for myself every day to ground myself and give me some direction. That started an addiction to tarot and oracle decks! Hahah! I only found my deities less than a month ago. I was called by Lilith in a dream and was made aware that Hekate has been with me all along.
I was in a FB group for beginners, but that group is becoming less friendly, so I’m looking forward to connecting to people here. Being in the southern hemisphere, our Sabbats are in reverse, so that will be fun learning to reverse them! I am a creator of spiritual tools and just started to travel around where I live with a psychic fair and I’m loving it so far!
I’m looking forward to learning so much to deepen my spiritual practice with all of you!
Hi, @SilverFlamePack! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
I hear ya about collecting things. I have way too many incense sticks, and I just put more on my Amazon wish list this morning. Congratulations on being called by Lilith!
I think you’ll find this group to be very friendly and talkative. It’s kinda hard to keep up some days! LOL! We have a few others on the forum from your side of the world too, so you’re not alone!
And I agree with Bry, I’d love to hear about your spiritual tools!
If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
Welcome, @SilverFlamePack and Merry Meet! I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. I’m a lifelong Pagan and have been expanding my path to include Lenormand cards and a study of spiritual beliefs. Art also helps my creative side stay healthy!
We’re so glad you decided to join us! Your spiritual tools sound fascinating - I hope you share some pictures of your work with us! You’ll find plenty of areas for Tarot and Oracle reads. You’re definitely in the right place, and there’s so much information across the site - don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything!
Yes, in the Northern Hemisphere we’re celebrating Imbolc this weekend, and you will be celebrating Lammas, yes? No worries, we will get them all regardless of where we are in the world.
My name is Kat, and I practice bioregional animism grounded in the North Carolina Piedmont. I create my own divination tools adapted to my local ecosystem, including ogham staves and seasonal tree divination sets. My practice is hands-on. I craft tools, make runes, deity figurines, and bind my own Books of Shadows. I explore the collaboration of magick and science.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!
We’re glad you’re here. Make yourself comfortable, explore at your own pace, and feel free to ask any questions you might have!
Welcome to our group. Awesome that you came here via Tarot and Lenormand. Myself, I just found Lenormand this month, and have taken to it quickly. I find it much easier on my mind than Tarot. That being said, we have a daily tarot pull and a daily lenomand read. Please join us.
Sounds like a Renaissance Faire. I performed 2 wedding in Dec. One at the Ren Faire and the other, her daughter a few weeks later.
Welcome to Infinite Roots @SilverFlamePack . We are so glad you have joined us in the coven. I’m Jayne, an eclectic witch, originally from the UK, but now living in Texas. My witch name, Greenbriar, reflects my practice, which leans toward earth and nature magic.
We have members here from all around the world, so feel free to jump into any conversation that interests you. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask, there will always be someone to pop up and offer help.
What fun to be creating spiritual tools and traveling with a psychic fair! I think we’d all love to learn more about the tools you create!.
I thought I’d provide a link to the post about the upcoming Sabbat, as you will see, it includes information about both Imbolc and Lammas, for people in both hemispheres, so you won’t feel left out
Hello and welcome to the forum!
I´m Katharina, an art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magick very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes and jars. Working in my Book of Shadows is a big part of my pratice. I love all things tarot and practice this art since many moons.
The forum is huge and it takes time to get to know everything. The people here are very sweet and helpful, so just make yourself known if there´s any questions, someone will certainly show up to help you.
It’s really wonderful to have you here and thank you for sharing so openly! I love how your path began through grounding and self-reflection with tarot; that’s such a wise and gentle doorway into the Craft. It makes perfect sense that daily pulls turned into a love of tarot and oracle decks (they have a way of doing that ). Being called by Lilith in a dream and recognizing Hekate’s long presence feels deeply meaningful and powerful, those kinds of awakenings tend to arrive exactly when we’re ready.
I’m Stephanie, or as I’m known here, Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California, and I’m so glad you found your way here after that other space stopped feeling supportive. This community really values kindness, curiosity, and meeting each other where we are. Being in the southern hemisphere and working with reversed Sabbats sounds like a beautiful learning opportunity rather than a hurdle, the Wheel still turns, just from a different vantage point.
It’s exciting to hear that you’re creating spiritual tools and traveling with a psychic fair already! That’s a lovely way to share your gifts with others while continuing to grow yourself. I hope you find connection, inspiration, and a sense of belonging here as your practice deepens.
I’m Leo and would like to say welcome to the group. I think you will find lots of things to explore, That’s really cool that you make tools, I look forward to hearing and seeing more.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! It’s only been a few days but I already feel at home here!
Oh yes, they sure are! My favourite decks are the Oracle of the Phoenix by Christine Arana Fader, Shadow of Darkness Oracle by Sirian Shadow and Angels and Ancestors by Kyle Gray.
I make rotating altars, stationary altars and tarot spread boards, tarot boxes, crystal boxes, tarot card holders, crystal grids, resin chakra stones with chips of their respective crystals in them and I just keep adding to my repertoire. I am disabled, so I find it gives me sense of purpose and direction.
Yeah, I’ve noticed a lot of areas dedicated to Tarot and I’m hoping to find a way to learn the meanings and symbolisms that I can remember as I deal with cognitive function and memory loss.
What kind of crafts do you do, if you don’t mind me asking?
I try to make everything for my path. Mostly because it helps me connect to it. For Tarot, Lenormand and Runes, I create my own decks - though I occasionally use commercial decks.
I made my own wands, athames, candle holders (quite a few), incense burners, bags, bracelets, etc.
As I plug along, more and more are hand made (I don’t hesitate to use AI, 3d printers, sew bags, make doll clothes, etc). I learned how to use the sewing machine during Covid
I recently joined a newsletter called Witchcraft for Beginners. Tried seeking a link, but failed for now. Anyway, they have been sending emails about reading tarot intuitively, looking at the pics and describing what you see and feel. Do you think that would help you?
Also, a hack which can help you respond to everyone without worry about the 5 minute wait period is to type the “at sign.” A list of people will come up so you don’t have to type their names. If you don’t see the one you’re looking for, type the first letter or two, and the list changes.
You can also highlight part of what they wrote to which you wish to respond. A pop up appears with the word “quote.”
Either hack will automatically email the individual mentioned so they know you’re talking to them.
When you’re done with one section, look at the top of the screen for a pair of arrows pointing down. If you tap that, the message you are writing will minimize so you can read more posts and respond to multiple people.
