I keep waking up for the past couple of months since Henri passed almost daily at 2 to 3:30AM.
I learned this is the wotching hour. And is the time your guides and spirits are trying to give you info. Wanted to share this… i found this cool article too and this image.
Thank your spirit guide. This is pretty important. Please don’t forget it.
Go back to sleep. If the message was conveyed, it will probably be no problem.
I do have 2 pretty important side notes that definitely need to be thrown in here:
More than likely, your body temperature will skyrocket. I usually break out into sweats, which last all of about 10 minutes, then things go back to normal. From what I’ve read, this is simply due to the surge of energy you’ll get while connecting to the other side. Some articles state a rise in body temperature correlates to a rise in your body’s vibration level- that makes sense, too. Whatever the reason, if an immediate torrential downpour of sweat bothers you, be sure to keep a towel near the bed. It will come on, stick around for 5-10 minutes, then go away as fast as it showed up.
For me, things aren’t always handled so smoothly in bed with simply deep breathing and opening myself to the message. I have felt the need to get up, draw, write, light candles, etc. So, while most of my nightly message deliveries come in the manner I stated above, some heavier messages require more to receive or truly understand them. As long as you don’t fight it, and go with the flow of energy, sleep after the message still shouldn’t be much of a problem. Your spirit guide or higher self isn’t here to torture you with sleepless nights when they know you have a big meeting the next day; they simply want to get their message across to you, and once that is done, they help you with getting back to sleep. If you are up for hours after the message, that’s on your own brain not being able to shut off, not on the message or messenger.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been waking up between 3 and 4 for a while and have been blaming it on stress or premenopause but I’ll try and open up and see if there is a message I’m missing.
In Chinese Medicine, 3-5am is Lung Time. 1-3am is Liver which is associated with unresolved emotions. In Chinese medicine the liver is the seat of all of our primitive emotions.
Thanks for this. I have also been tracking it from this aspect as well, being the lung hour it has to do with greif also. And have also been doing that work… @john1 this sounds so interesting please let me know how this goes. @BlackCat and @Satans_Helper So glad I could help let me know what you find out!
As we get older, we need less sleep. I keep Albus bird up until 9:30 or 10pm so we can both get solid sleep. He naps enough during the day to keep him awake at night, otherwise.
When I awaken at 3:30 or 4am, I’m not allowed to make much noise- out of respect for neighbors as well as a sleeping bird- so I am pretty limited in what I can do. It’s about 6 hours of sleep for me, so I’m wide awake. If I notice stiffness, I’ll do stretches before Albus gets up. Otherwise, I may read, write, or play a computer game. Sometimes, I feel confused enough that all I want to do is write out what has been going on so I can figure out what I want to focus on for the day. By the time Albus needs to get up (6am), I feel more clear. I can then clean cages, get breakfast, check emails, and light my candles and incense.
I like getting up that early. There is no traffic on Route 66. The homeless are resting as best they can. There is peace until about 5am. That’s when the dog walkers come out, the “Screamer” starts her emoting, someone starts banging on the metal flag pole, and employees start heading out for work. Usually sirens don’t start until 7am, so even the start of everyone else’s day is usually pretty peaceful unless the local Cubans want music before quiet hours are up. That has been calming down, lately, thank goodness.
Peace is a good way to start the day. Seeking a message is not peaceful for me, so I don’t force anything; though I am open to anything which may come.
Thanks for this @georgia .
I keep drawing a tarot card that talks about getting restful sleep. So I believe that it is good for me to get around 8-9 hours for my body at this time.
My waking seems to have gotten better since I journaled about some groef and anger I was experiencing…
So journaling, doing shadow work and conneting with source seemed to be the answer. This always seems to be the answer. Sometimes i just don’t seem to listen till it hurts… maybe next time I can make a different choice
@crystal59 good idea. I will try that next time it happens…
