Congratulations on becoming a grandwitch soon! :black_heart:

I’m sorry, I can’t say I’ve personally tried these yet. But I’ve researched them a bit for my partner, who hasn’t been able to work for a while due to health issues.

In terms of zero or almost-zero startup cost things:

Dropshipping

Apparently, dropshipping is still popular. It’s a low cost option, and there are many ways you can set up a shop front these days.

One of the sources I was planning to use myself for this was Faire.

Digital Products

Creating and selling digital products is another idea. It’s got almost zero cost, depending on how you go about it. And you can sell the same product an infinite amount of times because a sale doesn’t reduce your stock – it’s digital after all!

So, for example, you could write PDF guides on topics you’re well-versed in, eBooks, create video lessons or even a full-on course, create graphics, sell photos, record meditation audio, design printable checklists, document templates, meal prep plans, recipe books, sound effects, collections of daily devotions or affirmations, trip guides, and so on.

Canva makes many of these options really easy, but all the best stuff is locked behind the paid pro version

Freelancing

This is more custom work. If you’re good at something, you can do that for money. It is highly competitive, and you basically become your own shop that relies on good reviews and customer interactions, so it’s much more effort than simply selling digital products.

But at the same time, there are probably some simple things you could do? And you can combine selling digital products with freelancing in some way or another, too.

Perhaps doing spells or readings for others would fall under this, too? Some other ideas for freelancing include writing, graphic design, marketing, data entry, transcription, and online tutoring.

Side note: Depending on where you are in the world, it is possible to get work-from-home part-time or contract jobs such as data entry, transcription, and so on.

Anyway, those are just some ideas. If you’d like any help with any of them, let me know. Especially if it involves websites and similar such things. Plus, I’m always happy to have an excuse to dive into a research exercise.

I think in the near future, we will look into selling digital products ourselves. If we happen to start that sooner rather than later, and you’re interested in what we do and how we go, I’d be happy to share that, too.

Congrats, grandwitch! :tada:   Wishing all the best to your two daughters and your soon-to-be grandkids, how exciting!

Katerina shared some great ideas- just want to second what was mentioned about looking for work-from-home jobs! If you’re in the US, there are sites like Indeed where you can search for jobs that are listed as “remote”. Ever since the pandemic, a lot of things have moved online or distance- from virtual assistants to content creation to call handling and more, there might be something out there that will work well for you and your situation!

Wishing you good luck- I hope you can find something perfect for you

Blessed be!
