That’s very unfortunate but I’ve found that’s quite common with older generators of practitioners. Many occult practitioners followed (and still follow) the maxim of “Be Silent”, choosing to keep their practices and knowledge a secret for many reasons.

Hey @shannon23 , I’m Lisa, I’m somewhat the opposite no one in my family has any gift or pull to anything psychic or occult. So I know how it feels to be looking and longing for people to talk to about it. In a similar way of not having any one in my family to get wisdom from can leave one feeling quite alone.
But I think we have both found a great place to learn and explore. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for and more
