Introduction by Jenifer

I want to introduce myself: My name is Jenifer and I am located in very Northern California, 4 miles from the Beautiful and Powerful Mount Shasta. I am a very new Witch and have been intrigued and interested in the Craft for all my life. I now have the time to delve in and learn all I can. I am an Empath and have always been able to manifest. I just have always known what was going to happen before it happened. I grew up with classic Christian teachings and believe whole heartedly in my faith, but I have also believed in Spiritual Enlightenment and Earthly teachings. From what I’ve read I guess I’m an Eclectic Solidarity Witch. I could use any help or guidance and look forward to exploring and expanding my understanding of the Craft.

Hi, @jenifer1! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

My Mom lived in Northern California for a while, and she said she loved it! The trees were so beautiful there! I envy you!

What kind of magic are you interested in learning? That way, we can help you out!

If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!

I’m an Eclectic Solitary Witch myself, so I get what you mean by needing a community, and this is a great place for it!

Hello @jenifer1,

Welcome to the forum! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators. Just wanted to stop by and say hi, it’s very nice to meet you

The coven community is blessed to have you here! I’ll second Amethyst’s question - are there any areas of the Craft you’re currently studying or interested in? There are a lot of resources to explore, so having a starting point is a good way to jump in and find your footing. From there, the wide and wonderful world of magick awaits!

I’m wishing you all the best with your studies. Blessed be! :books: :mage:

Welcome, @jenifer1 and Merry Meet! I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. Your location sounds absolutely beautiful!

We’re happy you decided to join us! You may indeed define yourself as an Eclectic, which certainly is a wide brush for someone of many varied beliefs and interests. What areas of the craft seem to be calling to you for attention?

I’m a lifelong Pagan, also raised in a Christian faith but I have since stepped away from organized religions. My faith is in the Universe and Nature, and my craft is working with Nature’s bounty and all her critters.

The site is large, with tons of information - please don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything as you look around. There’s a lot to learn and we’re all here to help guide you along, as you explore and decide what elements are speaking to you.

Enjoy your journey, lovely! :sparkles: :feather:

Hi, @jenifer1 and welcome to the forum! It´s nice to meet you!

I´m Katharina, a solitary art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magic very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes, jars and all kinds of creative magic shenanignas. Working in my Book of Shadows is an important part of my craft. I love all things Tarot and Oracle Decks! @leilani1 and I are hosting the monthly Tarot Journey, you´re welcome to jump right in, if this is something that catches your interest!

I also love learning new things! Even though I´m practicing since my teenage years (which is around 40 years now) I´m always discovering new topics that fascinate me. Currently I´m studying Runes and started working with Crystal Grids recently.

I´m looking forward to getting to know you!

Brightest blessings! :dizzy:

Merry Meet, Jenifer. :crescent_moon::sparkles:

What a powerful place to call home, being so close to Mount Shasta carries a deep, living presence. Many people feel its spiritual pull, so it feels beautifully fitting that you’re beginning to consciously step into the Craft there.

I’m Stephanie or Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California, and I’m really glad you’ve shared your story. Being drawn to the Craft your whole life and finally having the space and time to explore it is such a meaningful threshold. Your empathy, intuitive knowing, and sense of manifestation aren’t starting points, they’re foundations you’ve already been living with.

It’s also completely natural to hold both your Christian faith and Earth-honoring spirituality together. Many eclectic and solitary witches walk blended paths that honor personal belief, direct experience, and nature’s wisdom side by side. There’s no contradiction in seeking spiritual enlightenment while staying true to what still resonates in your faith.

You’re very welcome here, and you don’t have to have everything defined yet. Curiosity, openness, and lived sensitivity are more than enough to begin. I hope you find guidance, encouragement, and companions for your journey as you deepen your understanding of the Craft.

So glad you’ve joined the coven!
Blessed Be. :herb: :dizzy:
