Introduction 🤗

Hello there Spells8 I’m beyond ecstatic to be here and I have been a member now for I want to say a good two and a half months at least and have done some courses already! I am solo and all by myself on this journey I have no one else who clicks with me that I can do any of my witchy stuff with which is sad but I would love to meet some friends that I can talk to you on a regular and do some stuff with because I’m completely lost and alone but still loving every minute of it I’ve been studying now for about 10 months but I haven’t performed any spells yet I’m kind of scared too. My name is Kyah but Witch name is Esme Ilbryn :kiss_mark:

Merry Meet Esme Ilbryn and welcome to Infinite Roots and for sharing your feelings. Being a solitary can be a little daunting as there are questions you may have and being able to share is liberating. Everyone is very supportive, caring and helpful with anything you need it is a wonderful coven to be a part of. Enjoy looking around the forum.

I am from a small village in Lancashire, England. :united_kingdom:

I am a Solitary Eclectic Hedgewitch and my divinations are the 5 Elements which I incorporate into daily life. I am drawn to the Moon in particular but also align with the Sun, Planets, Astronomical Events and of course Astrology, crystals, candle magic, tarot, runes, angel numbers, lenormand, tending outdoor, indoor plants and growing herbs, garlic, I write and create my own spells which is both exciting and rewarding for spell jars, spell bags and looking at different ways of forming new spells, I drink Sun & Moon Water daily, shower meditation as this fits easily into my daily routine and self/home cleansing adding instant magic where I can. I am doing the daily Oracle Cards which is my new go to.

I try to simplify, balance and live intentionally to create a calm, peaceful, relaxing home for my family, two German Shorthair Pointer Dogs. Millie & Bronte and our Koi Fish. I also practice Slow Living.

Blessings to you :last_quarter_moon::green_heart:

Hi, @kyah! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

I’m glad you’re enjoying it here! But don’t be afraid to cast a spell, you aren’t going to turn your SO into a frog, and Lucifer isn’t going to pop up in your living room. The worst that’ll happen is that nothing will happen.

I was like that at first, too, but I started with one of the Witchy Challenges, and I just kept going. The more you do, the more comfortable you’ll feel with it. So light a candle and make a wish! That’s magic!

Good luck!

I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. I’m a lifelong Pagan and green witch. I grow my own herbs, love to work with Nature and stay close to all her critters.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum and getting to know you more! Blessings. :sparkles: :sparkling_heart: :feather:

Greetings @kyah and welcome!

My name is Kat, and I practice bioregional animism grounded in the North Carolina Piedmont, blending science and magick. I create divination tools adapted to my local ecosystem, including ogham staves and seasonal tree sets. I also read tarot. I’ve studied herbalism, make my own herbal teas, and enjoy working in herb and vegetable gardens. My practice is hands-on: I craft tools, make runes and deity figurines, and bind my own journals.

There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!

We’re glad you’re here. Make yourself comfortable, explore at your own pace, and feel free to ask any questions you might have!

Merry Meet, Esme Ilbryn :crescent_moon::sparkles:

I love your witch’s name, it feels soft but powerful at the same time. And I just want to say… you are not alone anymore. Finding others who “get it” can take time, but you’ve stepped into a space where that connection can grow naturally.

I’m Stephanie or better known as Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California. My practice is very hearth and green witch centered: herbs, home magic, divination (tarot, runes, oracle, Lenormand), and weaving simple, everyday rituals into life.

Also, being 10 months into studying and not having done a spell yet? That’s completely okay. There’s no rush. Honestly, your first “spell” doesn’t have to be anything big or intimidating. It can be as simple as lighting a candle with intention, speaking a few words, and trusting that energy. That’s one of the biggest tidbits I’ve learned.

Feeling scared just means you care about doing it right, and that’s a good thing. But magic isn’t about perfection, it’s about connection. It’s okay to be imperfectly perfect!

I’m really glad you’re here, Esme. I think you’ll find your people, and your confidence, in time.

Blessed Be. :herb: :dizzy:

Greetings from New Mexico!

Welcome @kyah!

Know this: now that you are here, you are not alone. We are right here with you.

If you’re not into making wishes on a candle, stir a wish into a cup of tea or soup, clean house with the intention of inviting deity or magick in general into your life, talk to an animal (pet or wild) like you would a friend, or just sit outside and enjoy Mother Nature for a good grounding. They all count. It really is that simple. I started by hugging a tree to see how old it was and feeling it hug back.
