A peek out the window says it’s dandelion time - the yard is looking almost more yellow than green! This is a lovely spell and seems like a nice way to bring the flowers into the Craft.

Thanks for sharing, Amethyst - I hope your Brigid research is going well! :yellow_heart:

It’s going okay. I think I need that book, and not what’s online. For the most part I’m getting the same stuff over and over. It’s good to really learn it but I need other stuff too, you know?

But I really liked this spell, so I’m glad I found. I gotta get me some danelions and dry them out!

One year, I was picking dandelions- just the flowers. The neighbors’ kids came over, and we picked all the flowers- no leaves, no roots. For the next 3 years, we didn’t have any dandelions in our yard at all!

Take this as you may. Just sharing experience.

I guess there was no puffy seeds to make more. Huh. That would be kind of sad. I love a lawn full of dandelions.

Here, they are considered invasive and are usually kept down.

When I was a kid, I remember picking a bouquet of them for my Gran and Grandad while I was walking over to their house. Gran treated it as a big deal and got out a vase and put them in the center of a table. Which is probably why I’ve always considered them beautiful.

Thanks for the link. This is the right time of year to get dandelions - at least where we are (mid US - lots and lots of them).

I love their tenacity. They just keep on coming back!

You’re welcome! I hope you like doing it!

Yeah, there are lots here. When the managers don’t mow the lawn. LOL!

Decided to harvest a handful of dandelions for this. I made an ounce or so of dried leaves. I was hoping to get dried flowers but they all turned to fluff in the dryer - I hadn’t dried them before so it came as a surprise. Even flowers that hadn’t opened, opened and blossomed and turned to fluff in about an hour.
