🌾 Lammas Gratitude & Abundance Spell

Purpose: To honor the first harvest, give thanks, and call in continued abundance (spiritual, emotional, physical).

Best Performed: On or around August 1, at sunset or golden hour.

:candle: What You’ll Need:

  • A small loaf of homemade or artisan bread (or corn bread)

  • A gold or orange candle

  • A bowl of water or wine

  • A few grains, seeds, or dried herbs (wheat, rosemary, sunflower seeds, lavender, thyme)

  • A paper and pen

  • Optional: crystals like citrine, amber, or carnelian

:sun_with_face: Preparation:

Cleanse your space using smoke (sage, mugwort, or rosemary) or sound (chime, crystal bowl).

Set up your altar or working space with the elements:
:fire: Fire (candle)
:ocean: Water (bowl)
 Air (incense or open window)
:globe_showing_europe_africa: Earth (herbs or seeds)

:consecrate_spell:Spell Instructions:

1. Ground & Center
Sit quietly. Take a few deep breaths. Visualize golden light pouring over you like warm summer sun, connecting you to the Earth.

2. Light the Candle
As you do, say: “By fire and flame, I honor the Sun. Its golden gifts, its work well done.
As fields ripen and grains are reaped, I call in harvest, blessings deep.”

3. Offer Gratitude
Hold the bread in your hands. Whisper or speak aloud 3–5 things you are grateful for. Infuse the bread with your thankfulness.

Break off a small piece and say: “Blessed be this harvest day, What I give thanks for, comes my way.”

Eat a piece, and leave the rest as an offering outside or buried in the earth.

4. Seed the Future
Take your pen and write down what you hope to harvest in the coming months — not just material, but growth, healing, wisdom, love.

Fold the paper. Sprinkle a few seeds or herbs onto it. Say: “As these seeds, my dreams I sow.
By Lammas light, they start to grow.”

Place it under the candle while it burns (safely). Later, bury the paper and herbs in your garden or a potted plant.

5. Close the Spell
Raise the bowl of water/wine and say: “To Earth, to Sun, to all who give, For all I have, and all I live —I give my thanks, my heart, my light. This spell is sealed on Lammas night.”

Drink it mindfully or pour it as an offering outdoors.

:cyclone: Optional Affirmation:
Repeat three times: “I am the golden field, the ripened grain, I welcome joy, release all pain.
With open heart and harvest near, I walk with power, free of fear.”

Agreed! - @tracyS

@SilverBear I love all of your Jar Spells. I did the Protection Empath Jar today with a few modifications:

I replaced the mint with Eucalyptus and added Birch Bark (the tree for my Birth Month), and lastly, added Mugwort for extra Magick, and extra protection. I wanted to record it in your sheet to keep in my Book of Shadows :mage:t2::purple_heart::heart_hands:t2::sparkles::jar:
