Lavender smell

Merry day to all!

This morning, I smelled a very strong lavender odour, and there were no lavender item at all around me! It happened in my kitchen while having a coffee and in my office where I have my altar. The only lavender I have at home is essential oil, in the bathroom. The smell seems to follow me, but I don’t understand the message. Could you please help me to understand the meaning of this?

Thank you for your help!

Lavender is a peaceful, restful scent. This is a good thing.

Do you know anyone else who used lavender? It could be from a friend or family member, stopping by to say hi.

Are you currently going through a lot in life? (Who isn’t right now?!?) The message could be a reminder to relax, that everything is going to be OK.

Have you been casting intensely for something? The scent could be telling you that your spell has been heard and is being worked on in your favor.

If none of the above resonate, perhaps a guide is asking you to use a bit of lavender.

Has anyone else around you noticed it? Just curious on this one. I doubt it would be from an accidental spill. A neighbor noticed that lavender oil seems to dissipate fairly quickly when used on the skin. This leads me to believe that it is a message of peace and calm. Fabrics will tend to hold the scent longer, though you have to be pretty close to the fabric to notice. Besides, coffee clears the nose of all other scents.

Thank you so much @georgia for your answer!

I was alone at home and nobody come in my mind about using lavender.

For sure, I need to take it easy… I’m a teacher from Quebec and we’re on an unlimited strike… :sob:

Strikes used to be about the poor workers getting their fair share so they could survive in this world. Now it seems like one set of rich people are duking it out with another set of rich people at the expense of the workers. I hope things get better for you, soon.

I know how tricky it is to be home alone when odd things happen. I’m glad we could be here for you.

Hi @isabelle2!

Just want to second what Georgia said, albeit in a slightly different way- do you know someone who used to wear lavender or was associated with it, but has since passed away?

Scents are deeply intertwined with memories- smelling something out of nowhere, with no discernable source (especially if only you can smell it) is often taken as a sign of a spirit visit. Someone associated with lavender may be visiting your space- perhaps a friend or relative watching over you, or a lingering spirit with ties to the room/dwelling.

Adding my positive thoughts to the mix too- a strike is hard on everyone, and like Georgia said- most especially on the workers!

I hope things are resolved peacefully soon, and in a way that is positive for you

Sending love and light

Thank you for the clarification. I apologize for being shallow, there.:heartpulse::heartpulse:

Not shallow at all, Georgia! It was a great suggestion, and it helped spark another idea building off of what you said. That’s great team work, if you ask me! :handshake: :grinning:

Blessed be!
