Homemade Lavender Syrup Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar.
Heat over medium heat, stirring gently until the sugar completely dissolves.
Add the dried lavender buds.
Lower heat and allow the mixture to softly simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let steep for 20β30 minutes depending on how floral you want the flavor.
Strain out the lavender buds using a fine mesh strainer.
Allow syrup to cool completely and store in a glass mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
