Lavender Syrup Recipe and Metaphysical Properties

Homemade Lavender Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup water

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar.

Heat over medium heat, stirring gently until the sugar completely dissolves.

Add the dried lavender buds.

Lower heat and allow the mixture to softly simmer for about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let steep for 20–30 minutes depending on how floral you want the flavor.

Strain out the lavender buds using a fine mesh strainer.

Allow syrup to cool completely and store in a glass mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Metaphysical Properties of Lavender

Lavender is associated with:

Peace and emotional calm

Nervous system soothing

Purification and spiritual cleansing

Restful sleep and relaxation

Heart healing and gentle protection

Energetically, lavender softens the edges of stress and invites the spirit to exhale.

Here is my magickal potion! YUM! I brewed a cup of butterfly pea tea and made homemade lemonade. Then added the lavender syrup to it. It’s SO refreshing.
