This is immensely helpful. Thank you for sharing this with me.
You are very welcome! I may have more information later depending on what I can find.
Your welcome ![]()
I did find this article, too, that details modern worship ideas for Erebus. It doesnât say but I think itâs all UPG from the author.
Thank you this is actually extremely useful.
Regarding UPG I think itâs ok. Really in the big scheme of things, the old grimoires are still UPG from the magicians of the past, theyâre just respected because theyâre old and tried and tested. Some UPG is obviously not so great, but Iâve found alot of good stuff too, particularly when it comes to working with spirit. Just my view ![]()

Of course, Iâm happy to help!
UPG is absolutely okay â itâs our personal relationship with the Gods and spirits we work with, after all! I just think itâs important to note what is UPG versus what is written mythology versus what is verified gnosis that way we know, or at least I know, if Iâm looking for a source or not ![]()
This is true. Essentially everything is UPG when you really think about it. The ancients communed with the gods in similar ways that we do today. They werenât anymore enlightened than us modern pagans and witches. All that we know about the gods comes from their own collective UPG.
I agree, 100%.
And to add to that: Just because someone got a book published and another didnât, doesnât mean one personâs UPG is more valid. We all have to be a bit discerning no matter what we read or listen to.
(Nothing against anyone who gets books published. I have this as a goal, too.)
You are correct. I think itâs easy to fall into that trap. I too would like to publish at least one book. I may eventually write a book about dark paganism or something since thereâs actually not much out there on it.
Let us know when/if you do. I enjoy such books. ![]()
