Getting up the courage is the hard part. Your first step is always going to be seek legal counsel. Discuss with them your options. If money is an issue you can always seek out a local legal aide office.

Once you have started the process, I have a couple spells for court. I know one of them is to get the judge to rule in your favor. I think the other is for confusing or bumbling your opponent, but not positive off the top of my head.
