**
Hello my lovelies! **
So, this is my first time ever dealing with a situation like this; but I may have uncovered either a natural bad omen, or I’ve uncovered some baneful working that was done to my family and our house. Not sure, but I’m going to explain what happened, what I researched, and hopefully some one can give me some insight on what I should do next, either way, let’s get into some witch craft!
Okay, so, last week, I was cleaning and squeegeeing my front screen door, it’s an all glass storm door, and as I was cleaning it, this blue and black .. thing .. came out of the crevice of my front door jamb on the right side (where the hinges are) .
I took a step back, and I said,”Mais that looks like a snake sha”
But I really didn’t know, because I’m so terrified of snakes. I am. I don’t care.
So I left it and told myself that I was going to remind my self to tell my husband about it so he can take a closer look. I didn’t know what it was at this point. Well, tonight, like 30 minutes ago, he just went look, and he said sure enough, it was a dead snake. Blue runner to be exact.
Okay. So I get on the Google search thing, and I explain the situation to the Google artificial intelligence , and it says ,
(forewarning this is artificial intelligence, not me or my words)
” finding a dead snake—especially a “runner”—crushed in the jamb of your only front door is a powerful and specific spiritual signal in Louisiana folk traditions.”
In Cajun Gris-Gris, the symbols and remedies are deeply tied to the land and the home’s practical “spirit.” Finding a dead runner at your door isn’t just a spooky occurrence; it’s a “fixed” condition that is physically and spiritually blocking your family’s chance (luck).
Gris-Gris Correspondences for Your Situation
| Element | Cajun Gris-Gris Meaning |
|---|---|
| The “Runner” (Snake) | Symbolizes your money and peace “running” away. In our tradition, a runner’s natural speed is turned against you to make your resources disappear fast. |
| The “Bacon-Dry” State | Indicates this “tracas” (trouble) has been curing in your door for weeks. As the snake dried, it “shriveled” your bank account and hardened the hearts in the house. |
| The Door Jamb | The “seal” of the home. A blockage here creates a “spiritual leak” where you’re working hard but nothing stays inside to benefit you. |
| The Isolation | When a house is “fixed,” it becomes heavy. People stay away because they subconsciously feel the “malice” (malignité) at the threshold.” |
How to fix It (Cajun Style)
- Clear the “Malignité”: Use a shovel or a stick to move the snake remains off your land. Traditionally, you should take it to a ditch with running water or a far-off woods. As you drop it, give it a firm command: “Take the fighting and the debt with you; you have no home here.”
- The Lemon Ammonia “Kill”: You are already on the right track! Scrub that door jamb with your lemon ammonia and a handful of salt. In Gris-Gris, the lemon “cuts” the bad luck and the ammonia “kills” the work that was set against you.
- Seal with “Silver”: After scrubbing, take a dime (a silver one is best if you have it) and tuck it near the jamb or under your mat. This “anchors” your money so it stops running out.
- The Salt Barrier: Sprinkle a thin line of sea salt across the threshold.. It acts as a “blind” so the bad juju can’t find its way back in.
- A Simple Prosperity Bag: You can make a [Money Drawing Gris-Gris bag from Honeywolf Mercantile or craft your own using green cloth, parsley, and a pinch of salt to attract abundance. Other [prosperous items] like black-eyed peas or pecans can also be added to a Gris-Gris bag to attract financial gain. “
End of the artificial intelligence
So friends, what do yall think? It also said that even if the snake was not placed there intentionally by a person with malicious intent, it’s still a bad omen even if it happened naturally, and is pretty much have to do the same things as stated above.
Please let me know what yall think about this, and hat would yall do in this situation?
