Your garden is coming along beautifully. GORGEOUS! I’m in the ‘every time I go outside something new is popping up’ phase. I’ve been trying to ID the weeds on my property and I found a wild clematis (virgin’s bower). I just need to transplant it to a better spot. Also got my mugwort!

:green_heart: Thanks! It’s easy when the subjects are so beautiful

Appreciate the encouragement! :green_heart: That’s always a fun time! Especially when you find something that amazing, like a wild clematis!

Thank you! :green_heart: It’s been the highlight of my spring.

Love seeing everyone’s gardens and flowers. We’re still early on up here in Maine. But some things are up. Parden the weeds but I take a laissez faire attitude towards weeding. I do little of it so anything that goes into my garden has to be able to hold it’s own.

My quasi-green man came in. I think I’ll use him for rosemary since I can’t keep it alive over winter, putting it in there won’t hurt it.

And some random garden pictures:

First picture is my new little mugwort (yarrow background).
Second picture Is sage, a candy corn spirea and beyond that a mess of bee balm coming up.
Third picture Is early stage of Dennis’ Memorial Garden. This will look much better when everything is in place (all those hooks hold windchimes) and things have grown a bit.
Fourth picture is a different angle on the spirea and bee balm.
Fifth picture is my new grapevine. Just planted that baby this past SundaY.

First pic above is a black ship lily-new this year.
Second pic is peony. It’s been planted here for at least 10 years-but flowered for the first time only last year. This year it’s already grown so much.
Third pic are the two new hostas to my collection this year. Heart of Dixie on the left and Luna Tick on the right.
Fourth pic is my grape hyacinth (part of Dennis’ garden).

Dennis was my greyhound. I lost him a couple years ago. He was a garden lover. He tasted everything I planted within his reach. His favorites were my hostas in the back yard and the weigala bush at my friends house. He loved just about every part of a hosta. I saw him eat the new shoots, the leaves, the unopened flower heads and many, many flowers. He even used to gross me out and eat the manky dead old leaves that had been there through the winter. Maybe the fermented, IDK. I did not see the appeal but he sure did. Before my friends moved, I was able to get a little sucker from the weigala with a few roots. I put it in the ground and it has survived the winter and put out a ton of leaves so far. It’s only about 3 inches tall. I miss my boy every day. I have a special wind chime for this garden (in addition to about 5 others).

Sorry for the huge post. Gardening just makes me really happy and I love to share and see others gardens.

Be well!

@veronica1 So many fun and pretty plants - I hope everything thrives this season  And wow about your quasi-green man, he’s amazing! I hope he’ll be a good home for your rosemary :herb: Blessed be!

Spent some time putting bamboo sticks that I cut and dried last year to good use! Made a couple of trellises with twine for my bean plants and cucumber vines.

I love how that looks! Well done in repurposing them!

My gardenia bushes have been blooming for the first time since the snowstorm of 2021. I have been cutting flowers off all week and drying them for spell work. My house smells like gardenia’s.

It’s my favorite part of the year when my gardenias bloom! They are right by my front door and the scent is heavenly! Enjoy your beautiful flowers and their perfume! Great idea to harvest some to save. :blossom:
