Mantras and Positive Affirmations

Good afternoon and Merry Meet!
I have just started incorporating Mantras and Positive Affirmations during my daily altar time, and I have started doing this after my yoga time. I feel that it helps me a great deal. I was just wondering though, what would be some other ways to incorporate them in my practice? I was thinking about doing some candle magick. Picking a candle and then chanting a mantra that works with that color. I just wanted to see what you all think or have done yourself. I hope everyone is having a great day. Blessed Be!

My positive affirmations are spread pretty much throughout the day. I do a guided meditation in the morning that ends with a positive question & goal for the day. I do yoga with Adrienne on YouTube and she’s full of positive affirmations and encouragement. I attend several global Zoom guided meditation groups a week (2 specifically for self-compassion). I practice Loving Kindness mantras while I run. I’ve woven them into my life as best and as easily as I can. I’ve stuck with meditation for 245 days :exploding_head: I don’t have any specific magickal practice related Mantras or affirmations but I’ve found making them part of my daily routine - waking up, showering, drinking coffee, and appointments during the week helps me be consistent.

You’ve got a great idea with adding them to your candle magic spells - you could carve some key words or phrases right into the candle :candle:

Another idea could be to write them (short ones, or key words/phrases) onto a bay leaf. It could be burnt in a spell, left on the altar, or made into incense. If you keep a journal or Grimoire, you could write one to add to your collection there every day. You might also put a favorite mantra or affirmation near your bed where you wake up, so you begin each morning by seeing it.

There are many ways to weave positive messages into your day and your practice - I hope you find some that work for you!

A huge congrats to you, Artemisia - what an achievement! :two_hearts:

Thank you @Artemisia and @BryWisteria for the advice. I truly appreciate it! I think I will try the bay leave idea with my candle spells. Also, congrats on meditating 245 days in a row! That is amazing.
