May Lenormand 2026 - Play Time!

Morbid Monday ,

I guess I wrote the question a little askewed. I have How do my individuality and lineage overlap? 1 Rider; 10 Scythe; 29 Woman.

What this was SCREAMING at me, actually has nothing to do with the question. And I do not know why, but this reading just “bitch-slapped” out of nowhere.

The read first, then the why for this read.

News will be arriving (Rider) that will cut (Scythe) this woman (29)from my life completely.

I have had NO contact since 2001 (w/ a funeral) with my mother. Was finally able to move well-enough away from her clutches. My whole family knows that the only “news” I want to hear about her is her death. (And I’m not the only one…even her siblings are “allergic” to her toxicity. I have often wondered, is this where my daughter got her bi-polar/mental “unhealth” from?)

Anyway…this news may be coming soon.

Sorry for such an irrational read to today’s question, but the rider/news, and a woman needing to be cut…just was so obvious to me.

My draw today is from the new Art Deck.

Tree (modifier): life energy, life force, health, possibilities, roots

Ship (subject): movement, transition, journey, growth, foresight

House (modifier): home, shelter, stability, domestic matters, family, protection

I was looking first at this draw as a Narrative, but realized I kept zeroing in on the Ship card, so I think this draw is best read in the classic modifier/subject.modifier format.

The Ship card represents movement, transition, a journey - even foresight. I’ve been seeing the Ship card more and more lately and it’s becoming a favorite, welcoming sight. Is there a personal project that deserves a tiny step forward? No, but there’s the larger project of ongoing personal growth, even expansion.

I’m quite a fan of this lovely draw with this question. I often feel like I have spinning plates in the air (projects) to stay mindful of. The Tree card represents both the energy needed and planning for possibilities that I will nourish, while the House card is the stabling force that steadies me while I’m mentally away, off on a tangent.

Reflection: My personal project is crafting how to edge ever closer to the natural world, and there are so many avenues to explore. Often I’m focused and centered, but sometimes a bit overwhelmed and parts of my mind are like butterflies.

I feel a bit scattered even right now, since I’m hearing the oriole outside my window and wanting to go be closer outside.

Magickal Monday,

Well, I am not really working on anything “personal” other than the relationship (or semi-lack thereof) regarding my husband’s mental state.

So, the single-card pull was 12 Birds. How is communication a “personal project”?

Looking back at the reads, I see the beginning of this month, I had

Now today, it is communication with a group setting (12 Birds)

This means the “personal project” looks like communicating with my husband. It has become a sort of “project” not knowing which mind-frame he will be in, so it is difficult to know which way to approach him, as a child not knowing what is happening, or as the adult who becomes offended by treating him any less.!  So Frustrating!!!

So my “personal project” that needs a little “step-forward”? Looks like I will need to be careful with my speech around my husband today. He may be feeling a “little” (pun intended, since he is acting like a toddler sometimes) “small”

Yeah, gotta take the laughs where I can.

Lovely! Being strong when challenges come is a great base to have.

Yeah… I can zone out and think about crazy things. Then realize I was not being productive (wool gathering) and drag myself back. I liked your reading.

Happiness + Movement + Strategy

The new insight today might not be new but is a kind of mantra… and maybe a nudge to do more of it. I need to move towards what feels genuinely good but do it with clear eyes and self trust.

This is one of the ‘positive’ question examples.

Terrific Tuesday Thelema Theologians,

So, gonna do 2 for today -

One-card pull-- 4 Home…how is home a “schedule…[that I] will thank me for?”

Answer: Pay attention to what happens at home today [careful attention], because I will need to (use/remember) it later, and will thank myself for taking note.

Sorry, but this question did not make sense to me…how can it “feel expansive rather than restrictive?”…If I feel expansive, how can I also feel restricted?

I looked at this question (after the pull) to ask, where should I be expanding and NOT placing restrictions?

9 Bouquet; 20 Garden; 27 Letter.

The “expansive” path would be the garden (my social circle) and bouquet (happiness) will not be “restrict[ed]” by anything that I hear (letter) or am told.

So…expansive path to not feel restricted, is to respect my emotional health with my social group and not to worry about what anyone “tells” me.

Optimism + Support + Roots

I can embrace my family and friends and provide support and understanding. With a little luck and a tad of persistence, it will pay off in small blessings and growth.

Reflection: Our neighbor had a stroke yesterday. While we didn’t include them in our close circle, we waited until all the emergency people had taken him to the hospital and then started reaching out. So did others. It was nice to see us come together to support them. Lawns got mowed, vigils were kept, His SO was quietly assured of support, etc. This is not a small thing but I was immediately reminded of it when I saw how the reading was going.

Terrific Tuesday Dan,

WOW!!! “money where your mouth is”…everyone coming together…that’s what it is supposed to be about…helping each other when needed.

First, I hope your neighbor gets well soon and is back at home. Second, you all acted as neighbors should - just doing some needed chores that his SO would have zero thoughts for. Third: Very soul-enriching episode without self-gratification going on here.

My draw today is from the new Art deck.

Lilies: experience, maturity, peace, enduring calm, wisdom, honor

Heart: love, friendship, harmony, happiness, support, emotional connection

Woman: changes, female gender, femininity, the right side of the brain

I like a general Narrative format here.

The path that feels expansive rather than restrictive is the one I’m on, naturally. Although I don’t always feel 100% connected, and can get frazzled or impatient as much as the next human, the Pagan spirituality that has always lived within me is becoming more solid, more well-defined.

This is a lovely draw to represent this particular question. It could have been read in the modifier/subject.modifer format and the same sense would come from it, as far as I’m concerned. My path encompasses the emotional connection I have to Nature, in all seasons, and my fellow inhabitants of the planet. The Lily card reminds me that I’m coming along very well with the studying I’ve done and will continue to do, to keep things forefront in my mind. I am the woman represented by the Woman card here, not afraid of making changes and using my intuition often.

Reflection: I am enjoying the expansion of my nature-based spirituality, and being able to fold it more into daily life, chores, and modern living (though it can be challenging). The restrictive way I was brought up is something I’ve pushed back against since I was old enough to express myself well enough to cause concern from certain members of the tribe. Heh.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Tree: life energy, life force, growth, health, roots, possibilities

Fish: finances, rewards, abundance, flow, generosity

Mice: loss, destruction, nibbling away, complication, worry

I like a general Narrative format for this read.

The expectation of productivity that I can relax is likely the physical one. I enjoy my connection with my energy, both mental and physical - though I do still demand more from myself physically than I seem capable to produce these days.

This is a natural process of aging - the mind feels the same but the body won’t keep up. I have many activities (Fish) and chores set up for myself - same as they ever were - but I am realizing that if I don’t learn to pace myself I’ll physically pay for it later. It’s stress-inducing (Mice card, my familiar nemesis) to re-calibrate my daily production, but I am going to meditate on it today and acknowledge this current reality.

Reflection: Once I relax my own expectations, the stress of “not 30 years old anymore” will ease. No one’s forcing me to be the same except - me!

Intuition + Confusion + The hard line

Using my intuition I need to choose the path that clears confusion by naming what’s true - even if that truth is uncomfortable - and refuse the subtle pull of self‑betrayal.

Reflectioin: These are good cards for the question. When I first looked at it, I was a bit worried that it would go negative. But with just putting down the basic intent of each card, it became clear the spread was logical and ‘on my side’.

Agreed - this looks like a good read.

I’ve drawn negative cards and realized as I was doing the read that they were actually perfect - for that particular question on that particular day.

That’s what counts!

Key :herb: Mice :herb: Tree

The key shows me that I’m finally understanding something important. I can’t keep measuring myself by my old standards because they no longer fit my body, my energy, or my life. Those pesky mice remind me how much slow stress and pressure have been wearing me down over time, even in small ways I try to ignore. The tree brings me back to what matters, healing, stability, and creating a life that supports me long term instead of constantly exhausting me.

Maybe the expectation I need to relax is the idea that productivity always has to look busy, fast, or visible. Right now, in this moment, the real work is slower. More rooted. More honest. And that might be the healthiest path I’ve opened in a long time.

My my my - we had nearly identical draws today, with similar reads (no surprise there, I guess). The Key card seems important here.

Lovely reading, sis!

My draw today is from the new Art deck.

Ship: movement, foresight, growth, travel, transition, opportunity

Fish: finances, abundance, many, flow, generosity

Child: childhood, trust, innocence, a new stage, small matters

hmm. I general Narrative format here works best.

The first area that comes to mind needing tidying in order to shift the mood of a whole room is that area that is my “art” area. Since moving to this bungalow almost 4 years ago, I’ve slowly taken over a whole room; when I had outside workers to the house last month they referred to my room as the “studio” - something I’d never thought to call it.

This question points (rightly) to my lack of planning out a room that could be considered a studio; when we moved in, I had some “stuff” that held my art supplies, plus a drafting table, and it all got shoved into a former bedroom.

The Ship card mentions foresight: here I can only say I didn’t use much, so it’s on me to transition the space into something more workable, since I do spend a lot of time in here when I have a project going on. I have many small changes to make (Fish card), and if I need another work area such as a deck I will have to find one and purchase it.

The Child card is my inner child, chortling over the prospect of such play and buying new stuff. The child attitude: somehow, it’ll all get done and someone will pay for it all.

Reflection: a good question, unique to my own circumstances. I am not yet sure where to begin but know it’s time to move in that direction.

Inspiration/Luck + End of cycle + Emotions. Mostly the format is Mod/Subj/Mod

We have been doing this, tidying one thing at a time, for several weeks now. I think the cards today are brilliant for this. They go through our process almost exactly. Things we initially cherished had reached their end of cycle (Coffin). Once we started noticing this (Star), we started devising ways of shedding them in productive ways (Moon) and found that we could release a lot of things that we had dragged with us through life (we were professional vagabonds for decades). For instance, we still had cardboard shipping packages (unopened) from previous moves.

Fantastic Friday,

Lenormand today - What should I reflect on today? 29 Woman; 36 Cross; 33 Key.

Interesting…Me obviously (29 Woman). I hold the key to the cross that I have to bear.

NOTE: (Content notice: Domestic violence) –Yesterday, my husband finally got violent with me in front of all the guys, ages 26, 27 and 30. Now, they all see what I have been telling them. He sees the doctor Monday. I hope the doctor can pinpoint if it is dementia/alzheimers…or whatever it is. This is so difficult trying to navigate this. I have a quarter-sized bruise on my forearm today. I was a “smart-ass” and showed my son the bruise last night, and said, “so, should I call the cops to start documenting these episodes?”…he replied no, because there really was no damage, and I was not going to call…but how do I deal with this situation?

Well, I might be hit-and-miss for a few days trying to figure this out.
