Grounding Meditation

Here is a basic grounding practice I teach in all my classes.
On your exhales, release any energy that isn’t yours. Let it all go.
Relax your entire body.
On your inhales, call back all your energy.
Now, settle into all your own energy being inside of you.
Create a grounding cord at the base of your spine to tether you to the planet.
Here, now, in this moment in time.
Give thanks to the earth for supporting you.
Affirm your energetic boundary.

Visit A Tree

In your neighborhood, maybe even in your yard, is a particular tree to connect with. Visit it and say hello: hug it, touch its roots, and allow yourself to co-regulate with it. Maybe it even has a message for you: listen in.
