Merry Meet, Bonjour, Kia Ora

Hi everyone, It took me a little while to introduce myself…
My name is Sarah, and I dwell in Glenorchy, New Zealand.
I’m originally from New Caledonia, so I speak both English and French.
I’m stoked to be part of this community as for all my life, I was convinced that my reverence for Nature, and my respect for all forms of life was a very personal philosophy. I am marvelling every day reading the content of the Spell8 website and this forum, realising that I am not alone, far from it, and that everything I believe in was already organised as a religion. I was raised a Catholic and even though I respect my family legacy, culture and beliefs, I always had the feeling it wasn’t exactly “me”. Very few people know about my practice and my actual beliefs, so thank you to all of you for simply being here and holding the space. It’s wonderful to finally have other humans to share my discoveries, struggles and questions.

Hello @sarah7,

Welcome to the forum! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the moderators. It’s very nice to meet you

Just wanted to second this! Thanks to the power of the web, a witch is only as alone as they wish to be. There’s always fellow magick-lovers online and happy to share spells, swap ideas, or just chat about the Craft. The coven community is blessed to have you here with us, Sarah! Please make yourself at home  :mage: :books:

Blessed be!

Welcome, Sarah! :herb::sparkles:

It’s such a joy to have you here with us! Your story and energy are absolutely beautiful — it takes courage and heart to follow your own truth and reconnect with the magic of Nature. :globe_showing_europe_africa::dizzy:

I’m Stephanie, an eclectic witch from California :sun_with_face::palm_tree:, and I completely understand that feeling of “finally finding your people.” It’s amazing to realize we’re not alone in our beliefs and that our personal connection to the Earth is part of something much greater.

Your bilingual spirit and unique background add such a special touch to our circle. I can already tell your presence will bring warmth, curiosity, and insight to our community. :crescent_moon::purple_heart:

Welcome home to the magic, Sarah! We’re so happy you’re here. :candle::sheaf_of_rice:

Greetings @sarah7 and welcome!

My name is Kat, and I practice nature magick with a bioregional focus, working closely with the natural world and drawing inspiration from plant and animal spirits. I’m drawn to herbalism, gardening, and various forms of divination - tarot, throwing bones, kipper and ogham.

There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!

We’re glad to have you here. :purple_heart: Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!:

Hi, @sarah7! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia over here in the States. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

It’s great to have you here! I’m glad you found us. I know what you mean about finding people who share your beliefs. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as Wicca and Paganism until my late twenties! So I was very excited to find something that had a name that felt right, you know?

Anyhow, it’s nice to meet you! If you have any questions or anything, just ask, and someone will pop up and give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!

I really understand your position. I think many of us recognize it and it is certainly my situation.

I’m Dan and I study belief systems. My path falls loosely under the Chaos umbrells.

Spells9 is a pretty awesome coven. Jump in and enjoy!

Welcome, @sarah7 and Merry Meet! I’m glad you decided to post in here and share your background with us.

You are not alone in feeling this way, and you’re definitely in the right place. :sparkles: I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan in the US. I’ve been practicing for less than a year though I’ve always been a pagan, very close to the natural world. My favorite divination is with Lenormand cards, and the study of spiritual beliefs.

What a unique place to grow up! It’s beautiful in your part of the world. I’m looking forward to seeing you around the forum and getting to know you. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Blessings! :sparkling_heart: :sparkles: :feather:

Welcome! My name is Jenna and I am new to this coven and forum as well.

I totally feel you. My mother and my siblings were Catholic and then we became Christian, but they never made sense to me and just like you, my family and friends currently don’t know of my new path and religion. I hope I can learn from and with you. Blessed be.
