Hello @christina40,
Welcome! I’m Bry, a fellow Eclectic and one of the moderators here in the forum. It’s very nice to meet you ![]()
It’s a fun topic to explore! I’ve found that labels can be seen as confirming or restrictive, depending on the individual. Some find empowerment through the labels they wear while others prefer to practice without setting definitions. Eclectic is the middle ground in my eyes - it offers clarity and helps express one’s practice to others, but doesn’t restrict the practitioner to any one specific tradition or path. It’s the label that resonates best for me. How about you - how do you feel about labels in general, or about ‘Eclectic’ as a way to define your personal practice? ![]()
Make yourself at home here, Chrissy - blessed be!
