No, the pattern changed so much & with little notice, so it actually went to the west of us. We got the humidity though & some rain. Thank you

I love bats and follow a few accounts on Instagram and Facebook and I’ve just discovered it’s International Bat Night on 28 August! I may head into the local woods (it’s part nature reserve) and see if I can spot some of the local population.

August 28 is my anniversary with my husband! I’m so happy that it’s on a Saturday this year. We don’t have any plans really or that I know of, but it’s a good day for us too.

My neighbor used to have bat boxes in his trees. I haven’t seen them in a while, so I don’t know what happened to them.

Thank you. It will be our 17th anniversary. We have actually been together for 20 years. I can’t imagine this past summer without him or my children. :two_hearts:

My anniversary falls on a weekend this year too, Sunday 5 September. We’re going out to an actual live comedy show and for dinner the evening before. First time we’ve been to a show in London since before Covid.

Our actual anniversary may be spent at a motorbike show

International Bat Day sounds like a holiday worth celebrating! :bat: I know bats have gotten a bit of a bad rep lately which is sad- but I follow a bat rescue group on YouTube and the bats they save are adorable.

Look at this sweetie and his banana

You are very welcome, Jasmine- thanks for being here!:infinite_roots:

Thank you @BryWisteria!

We will be taking a road trip to the Lebanon, NH area with our daughter that day. I have to pick up some things & we are going to go to dinner in Londonderry, NH. It will also be the first ā€œrealā€ road trip for my daughter. I told her that we will go to the store for some road snacks & suggested bringing a blanket & pillow, just in case she gets sleepy. It’s almost a 4-hour drive from here.

That sounds awesome, @Susurrus! We used to drive up to North Conway, NH every fall to see the autumn foliage and explore the town there. It is a long ride, but NH is full of fun things to do and see!

Hope you all have a wonderful trip- safe travels!

I am excited about herbs and less salt day, :herb: I know tomorrow is going to be a Holiday and cant wait to learn more about herbs. I am also excited to hear about all the magical correspondences to besides all the benefits, so I can be more healthy again. Here are just a couple of my finding’s that I found that is very interesting and valuable.
:chopsticks:Willow Bark that was used to draw out aspirin.
:black_heart:Clover- Coughs and colds.
:rose:Rose Hipps - is really good for Vitamin C which you can dry and its like taking two glasses of Orange Juice.
:yellow_heart:Yarrow- Was used back in the day when the solders had wounds when they were bleeding and the solders would pack there wounds with Yarrow. Yarrow help’s because its a anticoagulant.
:herb:Basil- Helps to keep the bugs at bay!
:lemon:Lemon Balm- Helps with anxiety and you can brighten your spirits and use it in your tea.
:black_heart:Elder Berry Bush- Put in tea for colds and sinuses!
:herb:Jewel Weed-Used to make tea and you can use it for rashes and poison ivy. It helps with the itch and helps to cool.
I watched this video its called These plants can save you!
Anyway I hope you enjoyed some of my finding when I was on Utube trying to learn more about plants and how they can help.
I enjoy learning from each other and look forward to hearing more about what herbs can help us.
Blessed Be! :star:
