I don’t do curses or hexes in my personal practice, but I do love chatting about spell theory 
So I’d suggest taking a look at what’s in your pantry. Does it have to have a “stinging” property for the spell to work, or would any type of discomfort suffice? If so, I’d say the spiciest pepper you have in the cabinet ought to do the trick
