Merry Meet Monday - Witchy News of the Week (Apr 6 - 12) šŸŒ—

Here’s hoping that an adjustment like this will do the trick! I’m glad that otherwise it seems to helping.

Not long, and I don’t worry about perfection in my backyard! If they hadn’t been uprooted and shocked by the ice storm, they’d still be there, poor things. There was a lot of local damage after that storm.

Ooo, sounds like you’re making progress with that rosemary! It must have smelled so wonderful while you were working. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

But that’s what will give it character! Not machine made - crafted by a witch! :sparkles:

Terrifying Tuesday,

I know this is the wrong place again, sorry.

Well, things are still in upheaval. I have a ā€˜puter, but no cards…they are on order. I will be a little quiet this week; I’ll check in as possible. I will try to get back on track for next week. Anyone, really wants to know….PM me….long story.

Thank y’all for the loving vibes this way!!

I have heard of it, but I have to avoid sulphur in any form- which means most forms of magnesium for sale in my area. Still researching. Thank you for the suggestion!

Oof! I’ve gotten to the point that simple survival is testing the Universe daily! :joy:

Consider the peacock: their colors come from transmuting poisons in their food! Why couldn’t I reveal something beautiful like that instead of just getting bigger?

Betty White had lots of practice… and fun writers. You have more than half of that! Here’s to your own version of awesomeness! :clinking_beer_mugs:

That is a great stick! Anything you use it for will come out fabulous!

Perfect time for some foraging! Keep a bit of your lost ones for Magick! I was able to collect a bit of Sweet Pea Tree flowers in a wind while doing errands the other day. I’m getting so many local herbs that I need a bigger bag to hold them all!

You’re fine, dear. Sorry you’re having trouble.

Yes it has, I’m so here for it! :seedling: :cherry_blossom: :sun: :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain: :hiking_boot: :bird:

Appreciate it very much :pink_heart:

Right?! We’ve had a bit of a dry spring, and I guess the trees were just waiting for rain to go go go!

Thank you (all) I’m going to credit the good thoughts and well wishes for no headache yesterday and knock on wood nothing so far today! :folded_hands:

It sure did! I thought I was imagining it until I compared the two photos. :deciduous_tree:

 Today’s my join anniversary! Five years in this wonderful community! I’m making tiramisu with mascarpone and Lady Fingers tonight to celebrate.

I was going to say ā€œit doesn’t have sulphur in itā€, but it has magnesium sulphate and I assume that’s what you are referring to. I didn’t even think about that - sorry.

One that my doctor recommended, for restless leg, is the Sweet Sleep magnesium butter from Sweet Bee Organics. https://sweetbeeorganics.com

Here are the ingredients: Magnesium Chloride, Aqua (Water), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sodium Levulinate**, Glyceryl Caprylate**, Sodium Anisate**, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Peel Oil, Rhododendron Anthopogon Branch/Flower/Leaf Oil*, Citrus Reticulata Leaf Oil*, Copaifera Officinalis (Balsam Copaiba) Resin Oil*, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil*, Ferula Galbaniflua (Galbanum) Resin Oil*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oil*, Tocopherol.

*Organic Ingredient **Plant based preservatives that are widely accepted in natural formulations Tocopherol (Vitamin E) sourced from Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil

Congratulations on your join anniversary! Your celebration dessert sounds wonderful!

I don’t need rosemary, @Ostara . I have a small rosemary that I planted last year and it’s coming along nicely. It will be sufficient for my needs as I don’t do smudge sticks. (don’t want to set of the smoke alarms or suffocate the cats).

I would love a gardenia though, if you are successful in rooting them.

The lemon grass you gave me last year is growing like a weed! I harvested some last year (probably should have got more than I did) but now I have lemon grass oil

I do that all the time. Some places have call trees from hell… and waiting music that lowers anyone’s IQ.

Much love to everyone. Sorry I have been so quiet. Mom came home from the hospital last Wednesday, and was back in by Easter Sunday, with kidney issues from all the new meds. I got her doctor to cut the amount of meds she takes IN HALF! Now I just need to try to reverse her heart failure so we can eliminate even more. Finally on the right track. Oh the stress! I did a great spell today for strength and courage from my Llewellyn almanac. It helped a lot. Hopefully I can get back to my regular routine once mom is stabilized. She is at my house for tonight so I can keep an eye on things.

I have a busy week, i have done Turning of Season Renewal Riteā€ yesterday.

I am covering one of the Solicitors at my Law Firm, checked my inbox over 75 e-mails! Got through them so pleased with that, My best friend is a Beauty Therapist who has her own Salon going to have my beauty treatments done, a good monthly catch up a glass of sparking rose wine :wine_glass: nails, brows and toes. It is great as we have known each other since infant school.

Having my hair done on Saturday that has come around quick, I have colour foils, etc.

Going to a garden centre on Sunday to look for herbs :herb:

Wishing everyone a peaceful, chilled week

Many Blessings :dotted_six_pointed_star::green_heart::seedling::last_quarter_moon:

Thanks, love! Did you know they have saint candles for Betty White? I saw that today and laughed.

Hey, if you’re thirsty, you can’t think about growing!

Congratulations! Happy Anniversary! That’s so awesome!

Got to it today. While they did some things out of order from the book, they did a great job of including most of what the book had. Three hours is kinda long but it was a good movie. Rocky was depicted as larger in the book but I kinda like the way they did it.

You have my sympathies. That’s a lot of stress, what with the hospital admission and over a holiday weekend, too. I’m glad it sounds like things are on the right track now - and you’re taking care of yourself, too. Don’t forget yourself, lovely!

@dan3 - That’s wonderful about the movie - glad you liked it!

My 99 year old mom (the non-sci-fi fan) struggled a bit. I couldn’t blame her - I’d read the book and knew what was happening, but even I could see that it could be a bit much for a novice. Plus, it was long and detailed, where the advantage of having read the book helped. But she still enjoyed the overall plot, enjoyed Rocky as a character - and she happens to like Ryan Gosling, so it was all good.

So Mom had a big day out and bought us lunch at a nearby Mediterranean place - yummy! I’m glad she’s still able to get around.

As an aside - movie candy has gotten terrible! What’s up with chocolate being so…tasteless? I’m sticking with plain popcorn, since I can’t even count on Raisinets being good anymore - and the debacle over Reese’s Peanut Butter cups has made headlines! The heck with it.

I think I live under a rock. I didn’t know about that. Looked it all up. Corporate greed is skewing everything.

Agreed. When you’re going after the candy, nothing is sacred!

Hey, at least he had something pretty to look at!

And they have moved to using fake chocolate in a lot of things because real chocolate is so expensive. The grandson of the Reese Cup inventor complained, though. So Hershey’s is at least moving back to real chocolate in some things. But yeah, that’s what’s with the candy right now. Stick with popcorn for a while.

Good to learn this! ā€œAfter backlashā€¦ā€ :joy: such a wonderful pair of words.

I read some of what the grandson had to say about it - he minced no words!

Yeah, he was awesome! And on behalf of all peanut butter cup lovers, I send him thanks!

Belated Happy Anniversary!

Ah! A rare find! Looks good! Thank you so much!

Glad to hear things are working better! Get well soon, Mom!

Did they mention of what she is the patron? Betty White is much loved. It takes time and reported miracles to get official sainthood, but I am looking forward to her inclusion.

Thank you for the reviews!

I have been noticing a lot more wax in chocolate, lately, like back in the late 1980’s when conneseures thought it was fashionable to charge exorbitant rates for cheaply made products. They lost customers and gave up some of the trickery, so that’s what we ought to do, now: black ball companies who play with our favorites.
