If anyone of you lovely witches was wondering if I went MIA 
ā¦ I managed to crash my laptop, and for the rest of the week, I didnāt really have time to deal with it. But today, I was able to get everything back in order (with the help of AI). Thatās when I realized just how useful AI is for exactly this kind of thing. I donĀ“t need it to create art, I want it to help me fix my computer.
WeĀ“ve had our second heatwave this summer wit temperatures up to 40 C (104F) and air humidity up to 70% 
The funny thing is though, that this time around I coped much better with it, even though I went to work as usual (and we donĀ“t have AC at home or at the store). Interesting how the body gets adjusted.
But this does not mean IĀ“m not looking forward to autumn and those first cool mornings, when I can snuggle up in a warm sweater.

Somethings on the internet are useful when you get stuck. The news has been reporting the wildfires in Greece and Spain. We have had a couple here as well. Do forgive my ignorance but I donāt know whether you get them in Vienna I hope not as they are so devastating to wildlife habitats.
Your temperatures are extreme they report that but not the humidity that must be uncomfortable especially trying to sleep you must be exhausted. Given the length you have being in heatwave status your body as you say has adjusted to some of it but it is still hard for you.
We are due for another one for next week so I expect you will too. Hoping you can get some relief soon.

Yeees, technical trouble is always throwing me off, because IĀ“m not such a computer savvy person. IĀ“m glad I was able to fix it with help of AIā¦saved me a lot of money.
Fortunately, that doesnāt happen in Vienna, though it certainly does in rural parts of Austria. However, these forest fires are always small and quickly brought under control. The majority (I looked it upāitās over 85%) are caused by human activity. Fire bans are issued every summer, yet there are always people who ignore themāsomething I find incredibly stupid. Naturally, anyone who starts a fire is liable for the resulting damage, and the costs can easily run into the millions.
Yes, but it will be only a few days and for mid of August (around 15th) some cooler weather with rain is expected to end the heatwave, if the weather forecast is to be believed. Since this is expected to last for over two weeks, it probably wonāt get that hot again afterwards.
And then weĀ“re already heading into autumn. Hurray!! 
Thank goodness relief is on the way for you with some much needed rain and that you are safe from the fires.
That is a lot higher than I thought there are so many stupid people out there and it is a good job that your Fire Department is quick to control this growing problem
