@marsha Thankyou. Hereās to International Moon day. Hope you have a good weekš
Congratulations @Heav3n and @jan_TheGreenWitch
It sounds like such an exciting week. Not necessarily in my house. Phone calls, I hate using the phone, and the highlight is carpets are being replaced on Wednesday. It will be worth it but so much work . The plan was get the house perfect, then clear the tops of dressers and stuff. Not so much. So much work.
And I have a pissed off Mother-in-law to ignore We canāt take my Granddaughter on Wednesday, not sure when that became our day, and Thursday because of a DR appt and my daughter only just told my mother-in-law today. I am truly ignoring the whole thing and letting my husband handle the whole mess. Hey, maybe I can be taught
Have a great rest of your week yāall
My plans may go down the drain, after a week of meds my leg is still infected so I may be going to the doctor or ER. Yay. Not. At least it doesnāt have an ulcer.
@Nixi Oh, I hope itās ok with mum in law, and the doctor appointment goes ok. Nice to have new carpets and get the house how you want it. Have a blessed week.
@Amethyst Sorry about your legs, that must be painful. Sending hugs and love to you, hopefully the doctor or ER (Accident & Emergency what we call A&E here, Iām assuming), can help to heal them.
Amethyst,
I know you can get through all of this lifting you up during this difficult time
Love Jeannie
Thank you Marsha itās really a pleasure!
Jeannie
Thank you, dear heart. My doc wants me to go to the ER for some iv antibiotics if theyāll give them. So thatāll make for a fun morning. Thanks for the good wishes!
Thanks so much, @Jeannie1. I have learned my lesson, no more having marathon doctor days. What I did last week was too much.
I hope they give them to you, and I hope they work super fast!
I ended up going to the dermatologist and he gave me some good meds. If they donāt work though, then Iāll go to the ER. I just hate going there.
Thanks, love!
I hope the meds work wonders for you, Amethyst- hereās to hoping you can avoid a trip to the ER
Sending love and light your way!
Thanks, love! Hereās hoping I can avoid it!
Iāve got my fingers crossed for you that you can avoid the ER!
She called complaining a few times and I just walked away. The Dr is imaging for a lump on my husbandās leg and one on his back and heās going to get the baby after.
The carpet install didnāt happen. The place we bought the carpet from offers All Inclusive Installation when you spend enough. The person who canāt out to do the measure and eval said that all weād have to move is the monster of a bunk bed.
We called the installation company first thing on installation day and they said clear tops of furniture of breakables and remove electronics. We had the tops of everything completely cleared and were finishing putting up electronics when they got here.
Apparently All Inclusive Installation actually means whatever the installers feel like doing. The installers came and refused to do the Installation. The only things they will move are dressers cleared and drawers removed and disassembled beds. And they wonāt handle the disposal because the carpet is stained, they will cut it and bag it and leave it for us to deal with.
Theyāre coming back on Tuesday. Meantime the house is totally torn apart. The deck is full but for a (wide) path to the stairs, the kitchen is pretty much the same and the contents of my closet is in the bathtub. My 4 year old slept in his PAW PATROL tent set in my room last night, he thought it was great fun and we had quick meals for dinner.
The living room now has a cart with one of the smaller TVs, the sofa and a few toys.
The kids are happy and have space, the rest of us not so much. I still canāt find the play rug that I usually put out for my granddaughter. As big as the rug is you wouldnāt think it would be a challenge even rolled up and nobody remembers where it was put.
Oh dear, Iām sorry. What a disappointment and then you now have to live in the chaos until Tuesday. Hopefully theyāll sort it then? I hope the doctors go ok. Hugging you and your beautiful family. I bet youāll be glad for a breather. Can you take 10 minutes for you @Nixi so you can recharge.
@jan_TheGreenWitch How did the treatment go?
Aww beautiful
Well, Sally pretty much dragged me by my ear once she saw how much worse it got overnight. Iām on two antibiotics and diflucan daily. What fun. But hopefully, that will work and Iāll get to feeling better soon! They took a culture, thank goodness, to make sure they are giving me the right antibiotics.
So I had fun today. Sally rewarded me by taking me for a McDonaldās ice cream because I was a good girl. LOL!
Oh, Nixi Iām sorry youāre house is torn up. It sounds awful. Hopefully, your grandbabyās carpet will show up. You put it in a safe place and when I do that it always shows up when you least expect it.
Oh @Amethyst I hope they continue working & the Diflucan keep things at bay
Yay for a treat from Sally!
@Nixi thats no good, I hate when things like that happen & youāre left to kind of make do & figure out cleanup.
@marsha both appointments went really well actually! I was quite pleased & reminded that I need to uphold my boundaries to not go backward & if I can do that the the new situation can be beneficial to my own personal healing
(When the Morrigan has an agenda & brings your work to you without asking but a purpose
)
Iām doing pretty good though now that the fog has lifted & some things untangled, so woot!
@jan_TheGreenWitch I hope your treatment went well!
Thanks, love! Hopefully, this will work.
