Mom was told this when our cat wouldnât take a pill- many years ago. There may be newer advice, but this is what I can offer.Try wrapping the pill in something the dog likes- half a slice of bologna or cheese or peanut butter for instance- then push it back in as far as you can so the dog swallows without chewing.
