Since moving to New Boston I have encountered so many animals…in one day I saw 8 DEER!!!
Saw some turkeys, snakes,…and we have a robin’s nest right next to our porch! Since our move here I have taken some time to enjoy the most wonderful things in life…those things do not include staring at a phone screen or a computer screen. They involve the amazing world that I am now nestled into…I am surrounded by 31 acres of land and I am enjoying every moment of it! I am living the witch in the woods dream!!
I started manifesting this back in like 2000…and here I am 25 years later…with a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and a lot of tears…but I am finally home…

The metaphysical meaning of Deer is deeply rooted in themes of gentleness, intuition, grace, and spiritual awareness. Across many cultures and spiritual traditions, the Deer is seen as a powerful totem or spirit guide that reminds us to move through life with sensitivity, compassion, and quiet strength.
Metaphysical & Spiritual Symbolism of the Deer:
-
Gentleness and Peace
Deer carry the energy of softness and non-aggression. They teach us to approach life and others with a calm heart, especially in moments of conflict or uncertainty. Their quiet presence reminds us of the power of peace. -
Heightened Intuition
Deer are alert and aware, symbolizing an enhanced intuitive ability and the importance of trusting your inner knowing. They ask us to stay aware of our surroundings — both physically and spiritually. -
Connection to the Divine Feminine
Often associated with the goddess energy or sacred feminine, the Deer (especially the Doe) brings in nurturing, receptivity, and the ability to flow with life rather than force it. -
Innocence and Purity
The Deer represents a return to innocence — the childlike wonder of seeing beauty in the everyday and trusting in the goodness of the world. It calls us to let go of cynicism and soften our hearts. -
Spiritual Growth and Transition
Deer are often seen during times of personal transformation. Their appearance can be a message that you’re evolving spiritually — learning to walk more gently through life while standing tall in your truth. -
Protection Through Stillness
Though gentle, Deer are not weak. Their stillness and quiet movement make them elusive and protected. Spiritually, this represents the power of quiet energy, boundaries, and subtle strength.
Affirmation inspired by Deer energy: “I move through life with grace, listening deeply to the whispers of my soul. I trust in my path, and I lead with kindness.”
