Hello, it’s been a while since I was here, but I am hoping that with the kind hearts that I have experienced here, I could have some advice on which Moon phase is best to get clarity on something that has happened.
Thank you for taking the time to read my question ![]()
Hi there! In my mind, it would be the New Moon or the Dark of the Moon the Night before. A time of rest and reflection before starting something new. But that’s just my opinion. It all depends on what you end up considering a good time, even if everyone else says something different!
thank you
I am not sure I can wait that long
any suggestions on what else I could try?
Tomorrow is the First Quarter Moon, which is good for new beginnings. You could focus on that. It would depend on the question.
You could also go with the day instead of the moon. Friday is good for love, Saturday for protection and banishing, and so on. Like I said, it depends on what you need.
Never thought of that! Thank you.
I was blindsided by someone that said he loved me, said he had done since he met me 10 years ago, after 5 months of giving my heart, mind and body I was dropped just like that with no real reason or warning. Changed how he was within 2 hours of giving me my birthday gift, said it’s him it’s not me. So I’m confused, upset with myself for allowing this to happen again, broken hearted as I trusted him with my soul, and he says he can’t give me a reason as he doesn’t know either. So, I need to find a way to get clarity, and release pain so I can move forward and continue to grow as I was before I gave in 5m months ago to crossing the line of friendship ![]()
That is so icky! Urgh. Yeah, focus on what you can do for a new beginning, I think. I don’t think you’ll ever get a clear answer about what happened, and if you did, you probably won’t like it, so focus on moving on would be healthy, I would say.
But that’s just my thought. I’ve not had that many relationships before I realized I was ace, so take it with a big grain of salt!
He said it was him, not you. Take him at his word. You are a good person, and you deserve better. This hurt you, so it is time to decide he isn’t worth the effort. Easier said than done, I know. The confusion you feel is feeding him, making him feel stronger than he really is, and that’s not fair. It is a narcissistic game of cat and mouse, and you are the prey, but you don’t have to be his victim.
My first thought would be to pull your own energy back. Do you have a picture of him?
1 Put your right hand on your heart, your left hand on his picture or something you have which represents him, even if it is just his name written on a piece of paper. If it is written, include as much info about him as you can: birthdate, birth signs, address, phone number.
2 Picture him in your mind as clearly as possible.
3 Feel your energy flowing from him back to you through your hands, and his energy flowing from you back to him. If it helps, see the energy in different colors. Say:
"I lovingly return your energy to you
And call my own energy back to me."
4 Cut the energy cords which tied the two of you together.
5 Close the door between the two of you so he cannot pull your energy without your permission. Remember, if he did it once, he can just as easily do it again. You are now in self defense mode for your own sanity.
6 Surround yourself with protections. I use a mirror. Others may use a rainbow, swirling stars, fog, or your favorite element. These protections move with you. If you want to, set up another set around your home. Don’t forget to protect the phone, water pipes, and electric wires. Some may use their favorite color and imagine it making personal space invisible to him.
7 Get rid of everything connected with him, even if you put items in a box in a place you don’t get into very often like the attic, a closet, the basement, or the garage. The idea is to remove his access to your energy so you have a chance to heal and re-empower yourself. Every object of his carries his energy, so get that out of your field.
8 Cleanse your home. This is a grounding exercise to help you return to being yourself without him. Remember that you deserve better than what you are feeling right now.
9 Go back to your previous patterns of work and relaxation. You can live your life without the drama, and you are better off without it. Allow yourself to forget. If he didn’t want to share his feelings with you, those feelings must not be important to your daily life. Thus, dust them off your shoulders and move on. Let him carry his own load, just because he wanted to cut you off from helping him. It is not yours, so deal with your own without him. You have the responsibilities of making money to pay for your own shelter, food, transportation, and bills; your own growth and edification; your own cleanliness; your own curiosity about life and other subjects: that should be enough on your plate without someone there to steal your energy for his own use. He has proven by his actions that his judgement is faulty, so he has not earned the right to control you in any way.
If he is a narcissist, he will notice you aren’t there, and he will come back for you. Do not let yourself be pulled back in! Throw his words back at him. He didn’t want you then, so you don’t want him, now.
If he is not a narcissist, he won’t bother you. You are better off without him anyway. Go on with your life, and be the best you can be. If you think of him, later, imagine him being sorry he treated you like this. It is his loss, after all.

I will try and do my best, as I can’t stop crying, feel so betrayed, and can’t make sense of any of it. Just don’t understand what happened ![]()
