Moon water confusion

I’m not sure if I’ve been doing this right so I want to ask, for the New Moon, do I set my moon water out tonight or tomorrow night?

Tomorrow night is the new moon. Best to set it out tomorrow night. Or if you choose to, you could set it out for 3 nights straight! Just remember to not let the sun hit it because then it wouldn’t be moon water. :smiling_face::purple_heart:

@underwaxingmoon
My best advice is to use your intuition on what is best for your magic for me I put my moon water during a full moon which is on the 29th for the northern hemisphere! I use my diary for the practicing Witch Diary bee black states

Litha is more connected to the sun and it’s about the festival of the Midsomer the longest day of the year when the sun reaches its peak. The summer solstice is an ideal time to focus on energies of growth, abundance, love, gratitude, partnership, and Union. As we gather to celebrate Litha :fire:we embrace the vibrant life that flourishes around us reflecting the transformative power of the sun and the perpetual cycle of nature. So this is an important time where you can also create sun water lethal is also a good time for honoring the elements and nature spirits. this month includes the celebration of Lisa, the summer solstice marking the peak of the sun‘s power and the moment of balance between light and dark. It’s the time to honor growth, abundance, and blessings of the sun.!
I do this around the time when the sun is at its peak or during a waxing moon.

But yes if you want to do some magic that has to do with banishment you would use your moon water from the blue moon for tomorrow’s ritual. You can also do mainifest your desires by asking yourself what exactly do you want to let go?
I like to use bay leaf :leaf_fluttering_in_wind:
Fear - Encouraged
Resentment - Forgive not forget
Pain - Letting go of anger helps us
Sadness - Allow happiness
Anxiety - Excitement
Depression - Happiness
You can also do binding magic
Bind the profane

I hope this helps may you be blessed by letting go of what hinders you!!

Yes, that can be a bit confusing. You can think of the full moon and new moon as a multi-day phase and put your water out the night before or after. I always choose the night, even though the moon sometimes actually reaches its fullest phase during the day.

I found a detailed post on this topic for you! There’s also a printable page for your grimoire. :pagan_book:
