My Beltane sigils

Using one of Amy at Magical Crafting’s worksheets for creating sigils, I came up with one for Beltane.

My intention for the sigil was “I welcome abundance and growth”

I was sort of liking how it came out – I like the curvy one on the right, especially.

Then I tried to make a digital version of it with PSE, but can’t figure out how to curve the lines.

This was the straight line version I made in PSE. Looks okay also, but I really prefer curvy lines. So – my project for this afternoon - figure out how to make the lines curve the way I want them to in Photoshop Elements. Wish me luck!

It looks amazing! I like this one with the straight lines but would love to see your curved line version!

Both of the sigils turned out lovely!

Wishing you good luck! I’m not familiar with Photoshop Elements, but if it’s similar to other design programs, there should be an option to draw lines you can “bend” into curves.

Have fun with the project!

I thought there was too, but I can’t find it. I went back to Amy’s videos to see how she had done it and noted that her digital versions had straight lines.

It may be a case of “you can do that in Photoshop, but not in Elements” or perhaps just my old version of Elements.

I’m getting used to the version with straight lines and have added it to my pouch that I’m going to use for my Beltane spell pouch.

I love it! I like the curvy lines too! I never thought about using a digital program to help it look crisp and neat! Now I’m off to play with that!
