My first created spell

So I created my first spell! I have lost a lot of weight quickly and so my hair has thinned considerably. Please let me know what you think and if there is anything that I can do to make it better or things that I haven’t thought of being so new to this. Feedback is welcome so that I can learn. Well, I guess I should just post it…why does it feel like I am showing you all my latest artwork? Haha!

Ingredients:
Safe carrier oil (castor, Vitamin E, rose, coconut)
Essential oils: rosemary, peppermint, lavender, cedarwood or sage
Mix the oils in a dish, add a few drops of each essential oil, place on alter
Candle: pink for self-love or green for growth. (or use white)
Incense: I used rose to go along with the self-love theme, but use any that speak to you.

I added some rose quartz and a water chalice to complete the 4 elements. Set my circle, meditated and visualized thick, luxurious hair.
Use a pipette or just your fingertips to rub the oil into your scalp. Wrap, or tie up and let marinate for a few hours before your wash your hair as usual.

The words:
By the flickering glow of this candle’s light,
I anoint my crown with grace this night.
From root to tip, let the magic take hold,
Turning my tresses into silk and gold.

Earth for the body, Fire for heat,
Water for flow, and Air to make fleet.
Infuse this oil with the power of three,
As I will, so mote it be.

Again, please let me know what you would do differently, or elements to add.

@shanna5

I think your spell is lovely, beautifully written. I would not change anything as it is your creation, trust your inner guidance and go what feels right to you. Thank you for sharing. It will be a good tonic for any kind of hair. I have saved it to my BOS well done :waning_crescent_moon::green_heart:

I will say though, while it is too early to notice new growth. My hair is SO shiny and soft today!! I will continue this one on every hair wash day.

That sounds wonderful! Rosemary, especially, is supposed to be good for growing hair. Great idea!

You may want to get a thing of the Hair, Skin & Nail vitamins and charge them up with a chant, too! That might help.

Good luck!

This was good work. You should take some humble pride in what you have created! I say it like that, because I have learned through the years to always stay humble in my magic work. If I start to get overconfident, or should I say cocky? I lose a lot of the focus that makes what we do so powerful. It might not apply to you that way, it’s just how I feel. But, again: very good work, you put a lot of effort into this and I hope that it continues to bless you and give you what you need!

This is such good advice! I have so many people and animals in this house, focus is hard enough to come by! I know that it takes practice and I am getting much better at focusing inward.

Oooh good idea! I did just get my second month of the vitamins from prose. No good results yet…I’ll just need to charge them up!

Oh my!! That is quite an honor! :head_shaking_vertically:

Thanks Lady Gene!

You are all so kind! I am practicing everyday and bringing magik into my everyday life more and more.

Thank you for sharing this! Great job at weight loss! Beautiful spellwork. Saved to my BOS.

Have you looked into local herbs? Horsetail is great for growing and thickening hair as it is a silica- based plant. It is available in any forest in your area (I used to live in Indiana), but also easily found as an herbal supplement at many vitamin and herb suppliers. I once used it to help my hair grow longer after decades of Mom keeping it too short for any form of personal style. It took time, but freed me from her mistakes so that my hair no longer stops growing above shoulder length. The side effects are thicker toenails and longer fingernails.

As always, research and do what is right for you. I am not a doctor, nor do I know what your body needs.

This is really good advice! While I take a multivitamin (most days) I have always had thin nails too. So this could be beneficial all around. I’m sitting right next to 3 books on herbs. Hahaha! Researching now!! Thanks Georgia!!

I went to Aveda institute back in 2011. I didnt graduate or get my cosmetology license, but I did apply these diy hair treatments to my own hair over the course of the years, and my hair is so long that even after i cut 8”-9” off, its still long! I don’t use heat on my hair other than blow drying, and I also shampoo twice, using warm water , and rinsing with cool water. When shampooing, only scrub the scalp, because it stimulates your roots for better growth. Dont scrub the ends because thats the portion of your hair that is furthest away from the oil glands and the oils that the scalp naturally produces. We want to keep the oils in the ends. So condition from mid shaft all the way down to the ends, but not the scalp cuz remember thats where natural oils are produced. Temperature of the water is also Significant. It changes the structure of the hair , so warm water = opening up the hair strands to be more susceptible for nourishment. Cold water = closing up the hair strands molecule structure, locking in nourishment.

The hair masks I posted is created by ai, but I specifically told it what to create and to add the witchy glamour magick correspondences .. these are recipes I’ve used since before my journey. I just want to forewarn and give all the heads up I could across the board so theres no issues on the legitimacy or whatever, especially since i used ai . I know some people are funny about that, and rightfully so!

Hope this helps! :purple_heart::green_heart::yellow_heart:

Firstly, thank you all again for being so kind and helpful!

That’s the part that felt the most personal. Like sharing poetry a little bit. :green_heart:

Oh wow!! This really helps! I’m definitely trying this!! I’ve downloaded the visuals! Thank you so much!

I did. That is why I’m so appreciative of all of this support. I was very nervous posting it. Maybe I’ll try my hand at creating a printout for a BoS. I love all of the printable things here. I take full advantage since I try very hard to abide by a “zero electronics in the circle” rule.

Thank you all again!
