My granddaughter and her dragons

Merry meet everyone,

My granddaughter salara is 6 years of age. She is a mini me, she has made her own altar in the room where mine resides, she has even drawn a picture of Ganesha (she copied it from my wall picture of him) to put on her altar along with shells, crystals and bits and bobs. I have noticed she has a bit of an obsession with dragons, I have been buying her different things to do with them from a chalice with one on it to figures, a ring and a few other bits.

Is this just a phase or could there be something in it?

Blessed be :raising_hands:

Maybe both. My daughter latched on to a rubber dragon when she was just walking and carried it with her until puberty. They were inseparable.

My theory on things like that is to let it run its course and support it. It will become clearer what it means.

That’s really sweet! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It’s hard to say what stays in our lives and what gives room for something else. But even the things that only stay for a season can be the most important and cherished thing for the time being, and will leave sweet memories for later, and maybe even something to get back into when the time is right. :sparkling_heart:

I know this wasn’t meant for me, but it really resonated with me. Very truly profound. I couldn’t have said it any better.

I’m happy to hear it resonated  It’s true I didn’t know to consciously address it to you, but I like to believe that the things we need to hear find their way to us one way or another. We’re all channels to each other. :sparkles:

It’s could be a little of both. It could be her beginning her interest in the craft, or it could be she wants to be just like gramma. I’m not allowed to let my grandchildren know I practice witchcraft. If you are lucky enough to be able to teach her, begin teaching her. She is not to young to start learning the basics.
