My shifting working space
This is where everything active happens. Everything from burning candles and incense in deity devotional work, laying out sigils in demonolatry work, laying out cards when doing tarot readings, making spell jars, and whatever is required from a spell or ritual.
Kind of messy, right? So what would I do if I wanted to keep the energies from these different activities separate?
Well, I have an idea.
I’ve started placing placemats on the working space. I bought a bundle of black ones in the style shown below.
I’m going to dedicate each one I have to a different purpose. So one of them will be for divination, one for deity work, one for divination work, and so on.
And to distinguish between them, because they’re all the same colour, I’m going to stick pins into them. These are the pins that I got, fashioned after tarot cards:
I might get more pins and customise more later, but I want to start small at each step and build from there. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and all that.
