Thank you to everybody for you love and support. My gran (or nana as i called her) took the final step from this world this morning and is now reunited with my grandpa, uncle and brother. My heart is broken but I am thankful for the many memories I have with uer and for all she done for me in her life.

Thank you to all of you for your love and support. We will say goodbye to her officially next Thursday, the day after my birthday 
. I have been asked by my family to do a reading at her funeral, not an obituary type but a verse or poem. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Iām so sorry, Alan. Iām sure the ceremony will be a thoughtful and beautiful way to honor your nanaās passing, but at the same time, I hope there will be a way to celebrate the happy occasion of your birthday. Itās been a tough time for you - you deserve happiness, light, and (hopefully!) some tasty b-day treats too

Iām so sorry for your loss @Cosmic_Curiosity I know this has been a tough thing for you to go through and watch happen to your Nana. I hope she can rest peacefully now.
I created a video with pictures and music when my fianceās stepmom passed away a few years ago. I read this poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye over the music for the video.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
