Greetings from New Mexico!
Welcome @PizzaWitch418!
We have several closet witches, here. That part matters only to your safety. I won’t tell. You can still learn and grow all you need to without telling a soul. ![]()
I’m looking forward to learning from and with you. Enjoy your time, here.
Merry Meet, @PizzaWitch418! ![]()

Welcome! I’m really glad you found your way here. Being “half out of the broom closet” is a very real place to be, and you’re not alone in navigating that balance between your path and everyday life. It’s okay to move at your own pace and protect your space where you need to.
I’m Stephanie or AKA Eira of the Living Hearth, an eclectic witch from California. My practice leans into hearth and green witchery, astrology, shadow work, and divination (tarot, runes, oracle, Lenormand). Plus, I enjoy weaving everyday magic into my home life.
A year and a half of independent practice is a beautiful foundation; you’ve already been doing the work. Now you’ve got a whole community to grow alongside!
So glad you’re here.
Blessed Be.

Hello and welcome to Spells 8!
I’m Jayne, an eclectic witch originally from England but now live in Texas. My practice leans towards earth and nature magic.
Since I live in Texas I know all about being half in the closet. I can be open about my witchiness withy husband, but have to keep it hidden with everyone else
This is a very warm and caring community. Feel free to jump into any conversation that interests you and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi, @PizzaWitch418! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! ![]()
First of all, I LOVE your name! I could eat pizza every day, given the chance. I’m sorry your workplace makes it difficult for you, but I understand. I’m only about 3/4 of the way out myself. I haven’t outright told my neighbors, but I’m sure a few wonder, especially when the guy down the hall brings a box in for me, and I have a witchy decor. But I don’t really advertise it.
Anyhow, I hope that you stay safe and at least have a few friends you can trust with yourself in RL. I’m sure you’ll find friends here, too! I look forward to chatting with you.
Welcome, @PizzaWitch418 and Merry Meet! We’re happy you decided to join us!
You’re not alone in having to stay half-in/out of the broom closet - unfortunately, where we happen to live or live around, can have an impact! Good for you to have independently practiced and learned for the last year and a half. It’s great that you’re here - this is a huge site, with classes and other information to help you along.
We all have different paths, but we support each other along the way. I’m Feathertip, from SE Michigan. I’m a lifelong Pagan and green witch, growing my own herbs and plants, and working with Nature. I practice yogic meditation and Lenormand cards for divination.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything. Enjoy your journey, lovely!

Hello and Merry Meet @PizzaWitch418
Being in the broomcloset doesn´t make you less of a witch!
And there´s many ways of doing witchcraft without anyone noticing. ![]()
I´m Katharina, an art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magick very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes, jars and all kinds of creative magic shenanignas. Working in my Book of Shadows is a big part of my pratice. I love all things tarot and practice this art since many moons.
The forum is huge and it takes time to get to know everything. The people here are very sweet and helpful, so just make yourself known if there´s any questions, someone will certainly show up to help you.
Brightest blessings! ![]()
Merry Meet
I just wanted to welcome you along with my fellow coven members.
I think the majority of us are “half out of the broom
closet and keep our practice to the people we trust so you are not alone in that respect.
Everyone is very supportive, caring and helpful with anything you need it is a wonderful coven to be a part of.
I am from a small village in Lancashire, England. ![]()
I am a Solitary Eclectic Hedgewitch and my divinations are the 5 Elements which I incorporate into daily life. I am drawn to the Moon in particular but also align with the Sun, Planets, Astronomical Events and of course Astrology, Crystals, Candle Magic, Tarot, Anglo-Saxon/Runes, Angel Numbers, Lenormand, tending outdoor, indoor plants and growing herbs, garlic, I write and create my own spells which is both exciting and rewarding for spell jars, spell bags and looking at different ways of forming new spells, I drink Sun & Moon Water daily, shower meditation as this fits easily into my daily routine and self/home cleansing adding instant magic where I can. I am doing the daily Oracle Cards which is my new go to.
I try to simplify, balance and live intentionally to create a calm, peaceful, relaxing home for my family, two German Shorthair Pointer Dogs. Millie & Bronte and our Koi Fish. I also practice Slow Living.
Wishing you blessings ![]()
