Among the Olympian gods, Poseidon stands as one of the most formidable and awe-inspiring. Known to the Greeks as the God of the Sea, Earthquakes, and Horses, he ruled the vast and unpredictable realm of the waters.
A brother to Zeus and Hades, Poseidon held dominion over the oceans just as Zeus ruled the sky and Hades the underworld, forming the triad of supreme powers in Greek cosmology.
