It’s okay - everyone here was a beginner at some point. It’s exciting and even exhilarating to be starting a new journey, and you’re definitely in right place.
Have you figured out what you’re drawn to the most, what seems most natural to you? That’s a good place to start. I think of myself as a lifelong Pagan, since I’ve always been drawn to Nature, connecting to plants and animals, growing herbs and keeping a garden. Start where it feels the most natural.
It’s a large site, so don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything. Enjoy your new journey!

I am from a small village in Lancashire, England. 
I am an Eclectic Hedge Witch and my divinations are the 5 Elements. I am drawn to the Moon in particular but also align with the Sun, Planets, Astrology, Crystals, Candle Magic, Tarot, Anglo-Saxon/Runes, Angel Numbers, Lenormand, tending outdoor, indoor plants and growing herbs, garlic, I write and create my own spells which is both exciting and rewarding.

I am very interested in Tarot and connect with the Nature, animals in particular, but still searching for my place. A year ago i didn’t believe in any of this so i am very new. I have a wonderful spiritual guide though

I am actually feeling the same direction. I have always just known what a plant needs and animals are drawn to me as much as i them. My dog, Chance, never leaves my side. My now ex girlfriend was a “storm witch” as she called it. She showed this world. Tarot very much getting into tarot as well.

I hope that doesn’t sound glib! Daily gratitude - even in the simplest things - has become a strong part of my practice, but it took me awhile to realize that. It’s about positivity, and keeping your eyes and mind wide open. 
It sounds like you’re already drawn to the Natural world - what a great place to start.

I´m Katharina, an art-witch and art therapist from Vienna, Austria! I´m practicing magick very much through art making! I love altar craft, candle making, poppet work, spell boxes, jars and all kinds of creative magic shenanignas. Working in my Book of Shadows is a big part of my practice. I love all things tarot and practice this art since many moons.
The forum is huge and it takes time to get to know everything. The people here are very sweet and helpful, so just make yourself known if there´s any questions, someone will certainly show up to help you.

We have a great tarot course here! That’ll get you started there. I don’t know of many here that work directly with animals. I mean, there are a lot who have pets, but I’m thinking you may want a different kind of connection?
Now there’s something called Animistic Witchcraft. It’s sort of like Hedge Riding, I think. I’ve got a couple of books on my wish list that look interesting that might help you.
But it might be good to get with the basics first. It depends. Let me know if you want the titles, and I’ll share them with you! I don’t wanna overwhelm you right away, you know?
