With the Virgo New Moon upon us today, I’ve been sitting with where to focus my intentions and how to truly ground my energy. Virgo calls us to step away from wishing and passive hope, asking us instead to do the practical, steady work of building sustainable routines. It’s about walking our rows patiently, gathering what serves us, and clearing away what drains us.
Instead of trying to overhaul everything all at once, lasting change comes down to simple, repeated, and practical choices. Today I’m working with a 5-step framework to anchor this lunation:
Commit to one routine: Securing dedicated moments to ground and reset before and after demanding stretches.
Fix the root, not the symptom: Addressing energy leaks and emotional overwhelm directly rather than just patching them up.
Raise one standard: Treating my personal well-being, rest, and boundaries as non-negotiable baselines.
Remove one obligation: Practicing subtraction over addition by letting go of non-essential demands.
Set one measurable intention: Blocking out intentional, unbroken time to recharge the nervous system.
My New Moon Intention:
"Under this New Moon, I release the urge to hold everything through force and choose instead the power of steady, practical systems. I commit to clear boundaries that protect my physical energy and peace of mind. I tend to my own vessel first so that what I offer others comes from a rooted center, not exhaustion. Through simple, repeated, deliberate choices, I build a life that sustains me."
Wishing everyone a grounded, clearing, and restorative New Moon.
Blessed Be, and so mote it be!
Like always my thoughts my words my feelings. Help with Gemini.
It’s mind over matter. I had a wonderful conversation with both my father and my wife. Consequently, I’m no longer searching for clarity or acceptance. This is where I’ve decided to draw the line and stand firm. And with my work I’m just going to do what I always do absorb and release. I am the only one in complete control over my perspective on life, so if I choose to maintain a state of depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation, I have that option. Conversely, if I wish to view life and perceive beauty, happiness, and the inherent goodness in people, I also have that abilityI hope you have a wonderful weekend..
This New Moon is the closing of Eclipse season and I 100% feel the fog lifting. (More focused and intentional: like my brain suddenly wants to organize everything and atually get things done!) I hope you’re feeling it too!
I recently heard something that resonated with me. That people work too hard at being happy all the time. It’s better to be content. It’s impossible to always be happy, but you can be having a bad day and still be content. Just a thought for you!
Thank you for sharing your New Moon intentions. I am very happy to read that you have had a constructive conversations with both your Wife and Father and you have sought closure and have a positive outlook.
As the season changes and the heightened energies diminish that have been sent to the Universe I feel during this short window between now and Winter it is good time to reflect, evaluate and put in place anything needed to altered.
Wise words indeed Amethyst many people are constantly chasing what they that will make them happy. Instead it is the small little things that cost nothing that brings you the most happiness like your pets greeting you when you come home, a cuddle from members of your family or friends. Watching both the sunrise/moonrise and sunset/moonset, the liminal./ twlight. Being told it is going to rain and it is a sunny day. These are glimmers and are wonderful if you stop and take time to notice.
That makes total sense, and it’s hard to do. My anxiety takes me into a different realm, so I’m trying to control that. My happiness is just calming myself down and being me, that’s it.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It’s wonderful when the fog lifts and you awaken. I hope this continues through Mabon (Autumn Equinox) and into the rest of 2026. I hope we all feel the fog lifting and flourish throughout the year, staying strong.
