Birds have long been associated with messages, omens, freedom, and the unseen world. When the visitor is a parrot, the encounter can feel especially striking. Known for their intelligence, bright colors, social nature, and ability to imitate speech, parrots carry strong symbolism around communication and self-expression.
If you are wondering whether a parrot coming into your house is good or bad, there is no single fixed answer. Spiritually, parrots are often associated with communication, repetition, joy, connection, and messages that deserve attention. The meaning can depend on what the bird did, whether it entered your home, whether it returned, and how the encounter made you feel.

Thank you interesting post I have not had a parrot
in my home but recently I could see three birds in my Insense Smoke during the Thursday’s Group Tea Ritual on 10th September - New Moon
and I attach a photograph.
Seeing all three together symbolises alignment, completeness and divine communication. It represents balance of mind, body and spirt working together.
- The Cockatiel- emotional harmony and affection
- The Parrot - Voice and Communication
- The Canary - Joy, Vitality, Heightened Spiritual Awareness they share your inner light.. My Nana used to keep Canaries and as a child we had Sandy and Blue who were budgies

Wow that is amazing @Moonbeam I know the post is about a parrot, but my mum has a Crow that comes to her kitchen window taps-taps until she talks to him/her then she goes outside and gives the Crow a specific food they can eat out of her hand.
