Juno is one of the most important goddesses in ancient Roman religion. As the wife and sister of Jupiter, she stands at the center of the Roman divine order and is honored as queen of the gods. She is closely associated with marriage, women, childbirth, and the protection of the Roman state.

In Ancient Rome, her influence extended beyond private devotion and into public life. Alongside Jupiter and Minerva, Juno formed part of the Capitoline Triad, one of Rome’s most significant religious groupings.
