New to the coven and very happy to be here!

For what it’s worth, I’ve never seen “baby witch” used at someone or by someone in a derogatory way. The issue I’ve seen with the phrase is that babies tend to be helpless, and that calling yourself a “baby” anything can hold you back if you cling to the helplessness. I personally don’t have an issue with it one way or the other  but if you’re looking for a different label you can use “novice” or “seeker”, too.

Here is the Spells8 built-in definition of a ‘Baby Witch’. I got it (like most) but figured it was fine because I was, in a way, just starting. When someone else sports it, I just assume they are new here and nothing else. The introductions tell me more than the badge. Having said that, even if someone else is new to everything, I think they are treated with respect (I was). It is a nice feature of this group.
