If you like your nails painted! Paint them! My husband paints his nails sometimes. My NB teen paints their nails all the time. I painted my 6 year old son’s nails sparkly pink this weekend because he wanted to match me.
It’s not a biggie in my book! If it makes you happy, do it!

I am gay and in general I don’t care if a guy wants to paint his nails. In a partner I do not find it attractive.
