Day 15: What am I proud of that I rarely acknowledge?
Night Orchard - Temptation
Keywords: Desire | Invitation | Seduction | Choice | Curiosity | Forbidden sweetness | Magnetic pull | Sensual awareness | Testing boundaries | Conscious indulgence | Lush danger
The Night Orchard appears when desire is knocking softly but persistently. This card speaks of temptation that is not inherently wrong but revealing. What draws you now shows where hunger lives, whether emotional, spiritual, creative, or sensual. The lesson is not avoidance, but awareness. Choose with open eyes, not closed ones.
Faerie Lore: In the old fae songs, the Night Orchard blooms only under moonlight, its fruit glowing with promise and peril in equal measure. Fair folk say the orchard does not trap wanderers. It invites them. The fruit ripens from longing itself, and the vines curl not to bind, but to ask: Will you stay? Fairies who tend the orchard are guardians of desire’s threshold. They teach that temptation is a teacher wearing silk gloves. Those who taste without listening may lose their way, but those who pause, feel, and choose deliberately gain deep self-knowledge and a richer magic that cannot be stolen. The orchard remembers every choice and grows sweeter for those who honor their own knowing.
My thoughts: At first, I was totally unable to connect this card to the question of “what am I proud of?” - whether I acknowledge it or not. But then I realized, rather than being a warning, which this card appears to be at first glance, it’s actually pointing out that I am one who has the awareness. It suggests that I am not led astray by temptation, but that I can choose wisely, with open eyes. I believe it’s telling me I am one that the Faerie Lore refers to as one who can pause, feel and choose deliberately, and in the process gain deeper self-knowledge.
So to answer the question, “I am proud of the fact that I have a gentle awareness, I am not let astray by temptation, but am able to choose wisely, taking time to pause, feel and choose deliberately, even though I rarely acknowledge that I do this”

Deck: Stainedglass
Reflection: What shadow are you avoiding that holds hidden wisdom? (from the manual)
The actual card definition is: Meaning: Hades sits upon his throne in the underworld, master of hidden realms. This card represents depth, authority, and shadow truths that cannot be ignored.
My immediate thought to answer the question is: Don’t be a wuss and don’t be a jerk. Vulnerability if ignored can be weakness. Understanding the roots of the issue seems really important.
Before drawing the card, I felt I could answer this very positively.
Deck: Stained Glass (Etsy)
Yup.
Meaning: The Phoenix rises in radiant flame, eternal symbol of renewal and hope. This card represents rebirth, resilience, and
immortality of spirit.
Upright: Renewal · Rebirth · Eternal spirit · Hope
I missed a couple of days.
Day 23: Where am I allowed to shine without shrinking?
Mushroom Kin - Interconnection
Keywords: Interconnection| | Hidden networks | Mutual support | Community magic | Mycelial wisdom | Subtle influence | Reciprocity | Beneath-the-surface growth
Mushroom Kin reminds you that nothing exists in isolation. Even when connections are unseen, energy, support, and wisdom flow quietly beneath the surface. You are part of a living network where what you nourish also nourishes you in return.
Faerie Lore: The Mushroom Kin are said to dwell where roots braid secrets and the soil hums with memory. These small fairies do not rule forests by force or flame, but by listening. They travel the glowing threads beneath the earth, carrying messages between trees, stones, spirits, and sleepers who dream deeply. When one part of the forest aches, the Mushroom Kin feel it everywhere. When one thing heals, all things lean closer to the light. To glimpse them is to be reminded that even your quietest acts ripple outward, feeding a web far larger and kinder than you can see.
My Thoughts:
My initial thought here was, “huh?”. I deeply believe that there is a web that connects all things but I didn’t really see how this card answered the question. But then I saw it.
I am allowed to shine without shrinking when I am living in harmony with the earth and all of nature around me. This includes when I am tending my garden, during my rituals to honor nature and the Earth, when I do what I can to help with conservation of resources, with such actions as recycling, conserving water etc.
Deck: Court of Light and Shadow
This is an open draw to see what the deck thinks today. It seems to be saying I need to be on the lookout for hidden energies and to view them with discernment. While I don’t feel any deceptions at the moment, I will certainly take this under advisement.
This card is really appealing. I love the deck, too.
June is up!
Deck: Court of Light and Shadow
The light I carry into June are the keywords: : Sovereignty, Self-rule, Inner authority, Unshakeable boundaries, Quiet power, Shadow mastery, Dignity, Command without force, Self-trust, Embodied leadership… so, Wow! I’ll take it!
Day 31: What light do I carry forward into June?
The Green Mother - Nurture the Earth
Keywords: Nurturing | Earth wisdom | Caretaking | Regeneration | Sacred reciprocity | Growth through gentleness | Stewardship | Embodied compassion
The Green Mother reminds you that what you tend will thrive. Care for the land, your body, your relationships, and your inner life with patience and devotion. This card speaks of nourishment as a sacred act and of healing that unfolds slowly, rooted in consistency rather than urgency.
Just - WOW! As an Earth and Nature witch this resonates strongly with me! I’ll take it!
