Orthoceras - What a Find

I can’t even believe how lucky I am to have found and acquired this piece…

Orthoceras are an extinct type of cephalopod that lived during the Ordovician period. They are one of the oldest known types of animal and are thought to be ancestors of the modern-day squid. Orthoceras are often found in fossilized form, which makes them a popular choice for collectors.

No two orthoceras fossils are exactly alike, which makes them even more special. Each one is a one-of-a-kind piece of natural history.
