I added a Yule log to our decorations this year . It’s a real birch log, but the greenery is artificial, for the safety of our cats. And the candles are flameless too as one of the cats is apt to hop up on the coffee table.

Beautiful!! I’ve been wanting to re-do the one my son made me when he was a child. Over the years with moving, it got messed up and the candles got broken. I love the idea of having a plate/stand under it. Very inspiring!!
